The Admiral's Lounge in CDG was pretty quite at 9:00am. I was more impressed by the self-serve hard liquor. The sandwiches presented for breakfast were OK. The bacon and hot items were room temperature but I just enjoyed the cheeses, smoked salmon, and fresh bread rolls. The staff at CDG Lounge were not so friendly. They seemed kind of annoyed I had forgot my baggage tag receipt when I didn't realize I didn't take it. Quiet place though, was very clean.

I got this upgrade the day before my flight. I was so happy to be there. The business cabin had about 5 empty seats. I was sitting in 6J. As you can see my seat is on the window. Any even number window seats have the seat on the window side. Any odd seats have it reversed so table is on the inside and seat is outside toward the aisle.

Right before the aircraft starts moving, you are giving a choice between juice and champagne. It was delicious.

The forward space of the seat has a large area for when the seat folds down into bed mode. There is an extreme amount of leg room. You can fold your legs and move around as much as you would like. Only complaint is the bed mode is pretty narrow and not much room to twist and turn. There are two outlets. One is located in the forward tablet tray and another is located on the table part of the seat. No USB ports just usual outlets.

Here's the view from the window of 6J.

Samsung tablet. Selection of movies and tv shows as well as games and music but no WIFI.

I went with the beef. It was flavorful but just a bit chewy. Seemed to be on the well done side of the spectrum. Potatoes were good, vegetables were a bit mushy. They do come around with a bread basket of different type of warm fresh bread.

Best part of the meal was the ice cream sundae. You get to pick from a selection of toppings. It was excellent

Great views over Canada and Maine on the way back to New York.

This was served about an hour before landing.
Thanks for the report.
AA stil use a tablet as IFE on the CDG-JFK leg? That's quite cheap for such a busy route.
The sundae looks always so good.
Is it possible next time to put the comments before the pictures? It's really easier to read that way.
Hope to read you soon.
Thanks for this FR.
Did you pay for the upgrade or was it a certificate you got as an AAdvantage member?
