This is the first time I report, photos are not that bad but there are not a lot…
Anyways, for my return to Paris from Canada´s biggest city, Toronto, I booked the Air France flight 351 departing at 6:35 pm on Saturday, July, 16th and arriving on Sunday. July, 17th at 8:05.
I arrived at Toronto Pearson airport Terminal 1 at 3pm and took the shuttle to the Terminal 3, which took a few minutes. Just arrived there, I passed security controls after waiting 15 minutes…
Inside, I bought a last Canadian treat at Tim Hortons ^^

Later on, I started walking to the "C" gates and looked for the C35 where our Air France Boieng 777-300ER was already parked.
What was I going to do for the next 2 hours? An aviation fan is never bored in an airport: plane spotting!
Here are some photos you may enjoy…

… like this one:

Finally, 20 minutes before departure, boarding started for all passengers, starting from the bottom of the airplane to the front, it lasted 25 minutes…it was a bit chaotic…

Before flying, I read an article about the triple 7 Airfrance aircrafts: almost all of them have been renovated… I wished this one was one of them, but it wasn´t! :(

Just sat, first officer welcame us on board and said the flight was going to last 6 hours and half, one hour less than expected!
However, we had already half an hour delay and we had to taxi to 24R runway to take off…
Finally at 7:15, we were cleared for take off heading North-East…go!!!

Sitting near the window in the left side of the plane (32A), I had a good view of Toronto and the lake:

After taking off, I started discovering the (very) old entertainment system of this plane and found some information about the flight…

…and also some maps.

An hour after, dinner was ready, we could choose between pasta and rice in this menu that we got minutes before.

I had some rice, chicken, beans and orange juice, it was okay, not bad…

After dinner, I had the chance to watch the sunset and took some great pics like this one:

This and more throught this link, hope you´ll like it!

Yet, we had only 4 hours before landing, so I decided to rest and to watch a movie.

Already beneath Ireland, at 6 am, sun rised and we could see other airplanes racing to Europe like this one:

One hour prior arriving, a (very) light breakfast was served…had to breakfast again 3 hours after…^^

Afterwards, the pilot did the final announcment: we were already passing over french coasts and we were going to land in 20 minutes.

Finally, we could see the spoilers armed, we were about to touch down…

…50,40,30,20, retard, 10, reverse, brakes…here is the video:

7:45 am, 20 minutes before scheduled, we landed at Pais Charles de Gaule airport and started taxiing to terminal 2E, which was 10 minutes away.
Just parked, we had the chance to have a quick view of this brand-new Airbus 350-900 of Vietnam Airlines being pushed-back heading the runway, more pics of Pais CDG aircrafts here:

At right 8am, I got off the plane and went to the border control, baggage reclaim and exited the airport, it lasted me at least one hour…too much for a huge airport like Paris CDG…
Welcome and thanks for this 1st FR.
YYZ with YUL and other leisure destinations will probably be the last to get the new cabins I guess.
The meals look good, as usual with AF.
Thank you. I guess YYZ will be one of the latest destination to get the new AF cabins. Indeed, meals were good. Thanks for reading!
Welcome to the site and thank you for sharing your first FR here with us!
Nice spotting shots at YYZ!
Absolutely fantastic spotting shots from CDG! May I ask you why you didn't post them here on the report?
Absolutely fantastic aerial shot of Toronto!
Not the best hard product in this 77W, these birds are unfortunately common on selected routes like YYZ I presume.
Great sunset shot!
Thank you for sharing your first report here, I hope to read many more reports from you in the future.
Have a good one, see you!
