Welcome to my latest trip report, detailing a journey I took from Venice to Dublin in April 2011. The Aer Lingus A320 I took, registration EI-DVL, had just been delivered a few days beforehand!
Just over 2 hours later we began our descent into Dublin.
This was a very enjoyable flight experience, particularly since this was one of the first revenue flights in the life of this A320, EI-DVL. On short-haul Aer Lingus offers a low-cost carrier product. The flight was relatively short and I was preoccupied by the sights outside the window! Venice airport was very overcrowded and many people seemed to be late for their flights. Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport was brand new at this point, and made for a very easy arrival experience.
