This will only be very short as I don't have many pictures from this flight, in future you'll find much more.
After two days of plane spotting at Manchester, we travel across from the Crowne Plaza to MAN's T3 to catch our flight the BA1399.
This is the crew change flight at Manchester so we'll have the crew from the evening flight BA1404 that have overnighted at Manchester.
Boarding is called by usual BA domestic procedures. The lady checking tickets tells us to go down and board via the steps because we are situated on the wing.
A very short walk down the steps and through the doors on to the tarmac to be greeted by G-EUUP, my second time on this A320 (last time back from HAM in August 2014)
We are greeted by a friendly cabin crew member who checks our boarding passes and tells us to turn left.
The captain makes the usual announcement and then the crew begin the safety demonstration as we push back.
We make the very short taxi to 05L and then increase the power and off we go!
The crew quickly start the service, I go for the crisps as well as a sprite.
After that a very smooth flight - as usual the ubiquitous hold at Heathrow - we held for around 10/15 minutes.
Sooner or later, we approach RWY 09L and make a fairly smooth landing and begin our taxi to T5A.
We then reach stand 505, a domestic stand at LHR.
When disembarking, as I always do, I ask the Customer Service Manager (CSM) if I can go in the flight deck - she says yes and I get a few pictures and the captain is happy to let me take some paperwork!
Some spotting pictures!

2 LIKESLIKE TO THANK THE AUTHORTHANKS ! FLIGHT-REPORT LIKED
Hi there, thanks for posting your first report here. Yes, it's on the short side, but the basics are there and a cockpit visit! What were the seats like. Is this one of the old BMI cabins (with the thinner leather seats) or an old BA cabin? From the pic it doesn't look like this is one of the new cabins.
Spotting in MAN sounds like fun. Feel free to add some spotting pics as a bonus to the end of reports. I'm a big planespotting geek--always happy to see some :-)
Thank you! This is actually a refurbished aircraft - it has the new cabin...the last time I flew on it, it had an older cabin. All BA A320's from G-EUxx to G-GATx (including TTOE and TTOB) have been refurbed. All ex BMI so G-DBCx to G-MEDK/G-MIDx have the older cabin. I'm a massive avgeek so will happily add some pics, I'm currently in Frankfurt (spotting trip!) and I'm flying back today so will happily do my report :)
Thanks for the information! Good to know which a/c have been refurbished. The open air observation deck at FRA is great. Thanks for adding the MAN spotting pics. Have fun in FRA!

Another standard domestic run with BA, I'm glad you were allowed to visit the flight deck. Nice pics!
Thank you for the bonus, great spotting pics.
Have a good one, see you later!
