Check In Area in ZRH :

The checkin in ZRH was fast, a dedicated First and HON circle area is situated on CHECK IN 1 Terminal in ZRH airport.
On first class you can carry until 3 luggage up to 40 kg each. I only check in one .
After Security (Fast Track for First and Business class in ZRH)
Direction the lounges : 2 options for First passengers :
- Lounge at Gates A
- Lounge at Gates E (opened in 2016)
Lounge Gates A :


The original first class lounge with a restaurant and open bar : was quite empty at 10 AM.
The lounge manager offer me to visit the new lounge at GATE E with the SWISS Limousine.
As my flight was departing from D gates, an other limousine will bring me after from E gates to D gates :

The Limo was quick (5min) , a tunnel exist for cars/bus exist between A and E gates
Lounge Gates E:
The new lounge is stunning, offering :
- Champagne Bar,
- Terrasse,
- Restaurant
- Meeting room
- Bathrooms / Showers
- Bedrooms
- dedicated concierge
Lets check the entrance :


After verifying my Boarding pass (as the lounge is only dedicated for Swiss passenger),
the agent invites me to comeback at 12:30 for my limousine transfer to Gates D,
than Champagne was offered directly :

Choice of different champagnes :
- Deutz Rose
- Deutz Brut Classic
- Bollinger Special Cuvee
- Henriot Blanc de Blancs
Lets make a tour of the lounge :
- BAR :


- Restaurant :


- Meeting room :

- Terrasse :


- Bathroom / Shower with a nice view :


I did not visit the bedrooms as they were occupied, when I arrived.
A lot of seating area in the lounge :

I decided to have a look at the menu and have snack :






I choose a gaspacho type of soup and a salmon balik :

Salmon (was very good) :

And to treat my self a little bit more before the flight, i had a nice Movempick ice cream :
Movempick Ice cream bar :

Nice coconut and white chocolate ice cream :

Time fly when you have fun and was invited to join the gate with the Limousine with an other guest.
Arrived at the D Gates and realized the flight was delayed by 10 min : not too bad :

Our aircraft for today : SWISS Boeing 777-300 ER - HB-JND :
Welcome on board :

My seat for today 1K :
The seat is quite large (config 1-2-1) with a 2 meter bed, the ottoman can be use as seat for dinner with a someone.
The seat have a lot of storage on the side and in the closet (part of slide door closing).
Screen : 32 Inch one the biggest in 1st class
The seat can be transformed in the close suite for more privacy
2 toilets are dedicated for the First class passenger.



Champagne was offered : Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle :

Unfortunately, SWISS does not offer Champagne Rose on First.
Amuse Bouche, Newspaper, Magazine and Amenities were offered :

Amenities are essentially :
- Bag with La Prairie cosmetic, Ricola candy, tooth brush with Elmex tooth paste
- Sleepers
- Pijama
- Wifi code (50 Mb) offer on First Class
Menu were distributed :





Lunch had a choice of 4 main courses :
- Beef Tenderloin
- Rabbit from Jura
- Herb Cod char
- Linguine
I choose the fish for the main.
Now we were Ready to take off
When you want to transform the seat in suite: just need to press the closing door button :

After taking off drinks were offered, I continue with Champagne :

than the meal service start with table setting :

FIrst course : different tapas style from the Trolley :
- Lobster , Salmon Balik, Meat and Quinoa : everything was very nice

2nd course : a choise between Soup or Salad : I choose the Soup :

Main course : the fish quite good but a bit dry when was served :

I took a brake during the meal, I was already a bit full, and realised Swiss had a nice article about Montreal :

Cheese course : choice of multiple cheese from the platter :

Dessert: choice between Apple cake or Olive Oil cake : I choose the apple cake :

the Lunch service was done in around 2h because I took some break, as it was a day flight, it was very enjoyable.
The staff was very nice, give me some advise on wine pairing and we have some funny chat.
Heading slowly to Montreal … the 32in screen is awesome for all the entertainment

A last snack was offered 1 hour before landing but i skipped it :
- Chicken Sandwich
- Cesar Salad
Finally the staff show me rest area of the pilot on the B777 :

Landing was perfectly on time
We land in Montreal and was happy to catch one of the first Tunisair flight to YUL :

Great first look for me at F on the LX 77W, and the new LX F lounge at ZRH. This one really made me wish that somehow, some way, LX would make even last-minute F redemptions available to partners. Alas, I enjoyed living vicariously through you.

As expected, anything Swiss is close to perfection. This flight makes no exception and both on ground an in the air, the airline surpasses every competitor in Europe and beyond. Glad you had such a nice experience. Food looks great and creative. Hope this inspires other airlines to spice up their catering. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, Swiss really offers a superior First Class product. Everything served looked delicious, including the salmon and the soup! That lounge looks really nice as well too. I'll have to fly them sometime.

No caviar!
No, Swiss only have it 4 months of the year. but caviar is overrated.
I tend to agree that caviar is overrated... but caviar on a PLANE is not!
