Hello,
Thanks for joining me on this short Lufthansa flight from Croatia to Munich.
The airport of Split is very small and has one floor for International departures with 8 gates:
Once boarding starts you go down via stairs onto the apron and walk to your aircraft - all in all a very quick and smooth process.
Our Airbus A319 which would bring us to Munich today looked very nice in the warm Croatian sunshine:
A very friendly cabin crew welcomed us on board and I took my seat in row 3 which was the last row of Business Class today.
After a very quick taxiing we made a turn to give full power and head off to the Croatian skies:
The views while climbing out were brilliant - beautiful Croatian coast in the sunset.
We soon reached our cruising altitude and the friendly crew started distributing a very good tasting cold dinner by hand:
This was followed by a choice of warm breads from a basket - my bread roll tasted excellent.
Drinks were then served from a trolley where I opted for water, red wine and a cup of tea (served again in the real porcelain mug after I experienced paper cups in LH Business Class several times this year).
Drink refills were offered frequently.
All in all the flight passed by very smoothely with some great views of the Alps as well.
We landed on time and docked at one of the Terminal 2 H gates.
Thanks a lot for reading,
FlyAlex
Thanks for sharing.
I got EXACTLY the same tray during a MAN-MUC yesterday.
Another nice report, FlyAlex. Wow, that's an impressive food presentation for a flight of only 1 hour 25 minutes - Well done, LH!
Looking forward to your next report.
