I recently routed my way back from Hanoi to Bangkok with Qatar airways.

There are many flights fly directly from Hanoi to Bangkok and Qatar is one of them operating HAN-DOH via Bangkok daily flight by QR 835.
I flew this route before on Y but this time I took Business class on their 777s.

First I stepped myself at Noibai international airport, Hanoi, Vietnam. I came to the airport early, so there were not many passengers, only me and another business pax in front of me.

Let me checking in first. Only 2 lines for business and premium member card holder. It wasn't long process as only two pax right there.

After I went thru the immigration and realised myself is already at NIA business lounge which is on the upper left from the immigration check point. NIA Lounge welcomes many airlines from all over, no matter Oneworld or others.

I was really need some food because I haven't have any since in the morning, so I ran for eat first. Check in out what they offered for me. There weren't many food like lounges in BKK or SIN but it's enough.

After filled by those yummy, To refreshing I had a shower in the lounge. No staff in the shower room even there was a sign says please contact staff for shower. Have a look

My favorite point for the lounge is it friendly to an airplane geek like me. It's a great place to spotting planes take off and touch down, so far better then my Bangkok airport.

My flight delayed about an hour due to heavy raining in Hanoi. A lounge lady came to me a few time to update how the situation of my flight and finally it arrived after KENYA.

I boarded to Qatar’s 777-300ER. It wasn’t full flight because I’ve seen many empty seats and as long as I know most of business passengers only traveling on their first stop in Bangkok. Only one J pax continued its flight to Doha.

I was assigned on 3K because I didn’t do any online selections. The seats configuration is so nice. In fact, This was my first time onboard with Qatar’s triple sevens in business class. I enjoyed everything on this flight. 777’s seat in really comfy and it gave me even more leg space. I reckon I enjoyed this more that 787 or 380 seats. Even thought there was 2-2-2 but still worthy enough what you pay for. I will absolutely miss these seats after they're putting Qsuite on 777s.

The crew came up in front of me immediately after I seated. She handed meals and drinks menu and asked my if I’d like to get pre-take off drink and towels. I skipped first drink as I had my cola from the airport.

I ordered a seafood meal, I think it's a refreshment not a meal. This was what it look likes. I forget what it was but I am sure it was so nice. I love it. Plus few glasses of red wine.

This was a short flight, after I had my meal and took some photos around the cabin. Pilot did announcement for landing. It feels so fast, I didn't even check the lavatory…. only played with my seat.

Out there is already Bangkok. I am home now, my sweet home. :P
