Newest LCC in Japan

Spring Japan is the newest LCC in Japan.Spring Japan is subsidy of Spring airlines,China-Base biggest LCC.
So some Japanese hesitate to board spring japan because of a prejudice for china and a safety concern. But I think Spring Japan is localize to Japan, operated by B737(Spring Airline is using A320).
I didn't hesitate to use it,But also love their service quality.Enjoy my report!!

Domestic LCC

Check-in counter was crowded because "ALL passenger must be checked their carry-on baggage weight",Strictly only 5KG per one.
I could use auto check-in machine,So I could skip a long queue.

Boarding gate was 3. I heard Japanese and English ,Chinese announcement.(Most of Japanese airlines didn't chinese announcement)
Boarding was started from lear section.
Aircraft was B737-800 BSI(Boeing sky interior). All cabin crew welcomed us and assisted passengers.

Seats are basic LCC narrow seats,But Seats are well padded.I hate modern slim and thin seats ,So This is positive for me.
Fortunately,There are no any passenger around me,Lear section was almost empty.

Service was nothing. But there provide a drink or snack at a reasonable price.
Sorry,I didn't buy it.

On the air,Some chinese group tried to change seats without permission. Then,Cabin crew suddenly stop them.
It seems Spring Japan don't permit self seat-selection on board. So I recommend you to select seats in advance.($5~$10)

After 1 hour 20 min,My ship landed NRT. NRT has LCC terminal,T3.I will report later.
T3 has no boarding bridge,So You can enjoy taking picture.

Tip

・Their fare is not emerge into google flight. So Using Skyscanner or direct site.
・They don't permit mid air seat selection.
・Carry-on baggage allowance is Only 5KG.
・Their all B737 were new,So I prefer Spring japan to other LCC.

    Hi, CHEAPFLYER.JP !!

Thanks for this report! I never heard of Spring Airlines before. Whoa! Their baggage allowance is really strict! I wonder what I could carry that weighs less than 5kg. I visited their website and their baggage policy is strict AND confusing.

Happy to hear that the cabin is comfortable, though.

Thank you very much for the tourism bonus, too!

I see this is your second report. Well, welcome aboard! Will be lookig forward to more like this. ^^
