Hi,
First of all: This flight was from Munich to Rostock-Laage (RLG).
Unfortunately RLG is not selectable as airport here at flight-report, so I selected Kiel airport which is 2 hours away by car from Rostock actually.
BMI Regional is a Lufthansa partner. Because of this the airline is handled at Munich airport Terminal 2.
Unfortunately BMI Regional is no partner of Miles & More. So no miles could be collected during this flight.
Boarding started on time and we took a bus that would bring us to our ERJ 145 waiting on the apron.
Our aircraft looked superb in the early morning sun.
The flight was almost full and one male flight attendant welcomed us all on board in English and German.
Flight time was announced as 1 hour for this domestic hop to the city of Rostock located at the Baltic Sea coast of Germany.
The seats were comfortable and seat pitch also totally fine.
However you could really see the age of the cabin which looked old fashioned and worn.
We took off towards the west and had some nice views of Bavaria with fog still hanging around.
Once cruising altitude has been reached the rather friendly flight attendant started the inflight service with a trolley from the front towards the back of the cabin.
Snacks and drinks are for free on BMI Regional.
We were offered a choice of ham or cheese sandwich and I had the cheese one which tasted good.
I had a cup of tea and some water with it.
The flight passed by very quickly and soon we touched down at Rostock Laage airport.
We were the only scheduled plane this morning and parked directly in front of the small but modern terminal building.
Once disembarked it was a quick walk via the apron into the terminal building.
Here is a last shot from the inside of the modern building:
Rostock Laage gets more and more popular and especially handles a lot of flights for cruise passengers coming in that start their cruise here at nearby port of Warnemuende.
Thanks for reading,

Hi :)
Thank you for this nice report.
I like the ERj145, most of the time, cabins are oldschool and much more comfortable than the newes aircraft flying in Europe.
Good catering for a one hour flight.
Is there any codeshare agreement with LH?
See you
Thanks for this FR.
glad to see bmi regional doing good on all these niche routes.
Service is pretty nice for a short flight but the fares usually aren't low cost-like either.
Yes true nur this flight was actually quite affordable: oneway Trip did cost 96 Euro including inflight service, hold luggage etc!
Yes the flight also has a codeshare LH flight number. So really a pity that BMI does not have a Cooperation with Miles & More
Really? What's interest for LH's Frequent Flyers if there is no cooperation between the 2 companies ??
Yes I did some Research and BMI seems to be one of very few LH codeshare Partners without FFP cooperation. So benefits are through fares and baggage through Check to final destination
Thank you for sharing this FR with us!
Beautiful morning pictures at the beginning.
“nice views of Bavaria with fog still hanging around.“
- Breathtaking!
Exciting FR to read.
Have a good one, see you.
Many thanks. Nice to hear that you like some of the pictures a lot :) I specially like departing in the early morning because of the nice light/Sun combinations.
