Hello,
I transferred at Warsaw from another flight and due to a friend's Star Alliance Gold status I could enjoy the LOT Elite Club Lounge - a special lounge area within the regular LOT Business Class Lounge.
The lounge provides a nice and calm atmosphere - the only thing missing are windows and natural light.
However the food selection and quality is very good. Catering here is provided by Do & Co and there is a good choice of cold and warm choices.
There were different LOT 787s waiting for different longhaul flights - unfortunately it was not possible to catch a picture of my dedicated plane today.
Boarding started on time and priority boarding was respected. Soon I was on board our beautiful 787 and greeted by a friendly Polish crew.
The seats in Premium Economy are comfortable and provided a decent pitch - totally fine for a daytime flight.
However there is one big problem: If you are seated in the window seat and the seat in front of you is reclined it is almost impossible to get out! This is because of the long and strange construction of the center armrest. It is very nice that Premium Economy at LOT is handled as a completely separate cabin class with fixed dividers and closed curtains to Economy and also a special cabin crew: Two dedicated cabin crew members take care of Premium Economy and provided a very warm and professional inflight service today.

Waiting on the seats were a blanket, pillow and some rather cheap regular Economy headsets.
Once boarding came to an end a welcome drink was offered - a selection of sparkling wine, water or orange juice could be found on the trays passed around.
Afterwards a bottle of water and newspapers were offered and a small amenity kit was distributed.
We took off on time and reached our cruising altitude after heading through a layer of clouds.
Cabin crew started the inflight service with the distribution of menus followed by a hot towel.

Afterwards an aperitif service was conducted with a selection of vegetable chips.
Not long after the main meal was served. I selected the pork main dish and everything tasted great.
The food tasted great and has been catered by Do & Co. Everything was served on real porcelain and the cabin crew made sure to remove all plastic covers and aluminuim foils before serving.
Some more warm bread and drink rounds were conducted.
Once lunch has been finished I watched a movie from the rather small selection available.
Actually the inflight entertainment selection ais the only topic were LOT falls behind other carriers.
A second service started while we were already flying over nice North American country side.
The service consisted of hot towel, another aperitif service with vegetable chips and a cold evening meal.
Again everything tasted great.
Soon we started descend and touched down at Newark about 45 minutes ahead of schedule.
We parked at Terminal B passing an armada of United airplanes.
Having diesembarked from our aircraft I could catch some great airplane views in sunset light.

Thanks for reading,

Thanks for this FR.
Indeed a really decent Y+ product, close to C class in some aspects. It reminds me of Corsair Premium Eco.
Very nice report! There aren't many reviews out there on LOT's long-haul Premium Economy so it's nice to see a comprehensive report. It looks really good overall. The seats look comfortable and more like old school business class seats. The catering looks really good as well--quite an upgrade from normal Economy catering. It seems that LOT has positioned their Premium Economy product well. Thanks for sharing!
