Hello,
As this was a late night departure I still had enough time to enjoy magnificent sunset views from Top of the Rock viewing terrace at Manhattan before heading to Newark airport.
Check In at the dedicated LOT Polish Airlines desks at Newark Terminal B was a very nice experience. There were dedicated Business/Premium Economy Class counters and without any queue I was handled by an extremely friendly and helpful ground staff team.
Security though Fast Lane was brief and due to a friend's Star Alliance Gold status I could wait at the SAS Lounge until boarding started.
The lounge was almost deserted at this time of the day. I really liked this big and very spacious lounge with modern Scandinavian style.
However the food selection was somehow rather limited to cold choices and one soup.

Boarding started 30 minutes late due to the late arrival of our crew.
However once boaring started Priority handling was nicely respected.
A friendly cabin crew welcomed us on board and I soon settled into my comfortable Premium Economy window seat.
Waiting on the seat were a blanket, pillow headsets, amenity kit & bottle of water.
Boarding was finished quite soon and newspapers and a welcome drink were distributed. You could choose from sparkling wine, water or orange juice.
While taxiing the menu for tonight's flight was handed out.

We powered into the clear dark night and I could enjoy great views of the whole Manhattan skyline.
Soon after take off hot towels were offered followed by an aperitif service with vegetable chips.

Just minutes later the dinner was served and again everythig tasted great including my main dish choice of chicken.
Several rounds of warm bread and drinks were done before the cabin was darkened for the night.
It was great that Premium Economy service was already finished and cabin dark when main Economy's last rows were still receiving their dinner trays.
That ensures maximum rest time when travelling Premium Economy on such a rather short night flight of 7 hrs 20 minutes.
I slept quite well - but more because I was that exhausted from the sightseeing day than the comfort of the seat.
In the end it is still a regular seat and not really made for comfortable sleeping compared to a Business Class bed.
I missed the hot towel service when I woke up. Cabin was already brightly lit with sunshine and the breakfast service started.
A nice cold breakfast with warm breads from a basket was served.
Everything tasted good however no jam was available at all which was somehow strange.
We soon started our descend and touched down at a cloudy Warsaw airport where we docked next to another LOT Dreamliner.

Looks like you had a good flight with LOT! Thank you for sharing. Their Premium Economy cabin looks pretty nice! The food looks also good as well, and almost the same looking offering as their Business Class meals I've seen.
Good looking premium economy meal.
