Took as long as the flight to reach the terminal. The drive is was long about an hour. This is one reason many locals take the bus to Singapore / vice versa. I took the flight for experience.

Many flights together at Terminal 1. Long queue for immigration for Foreigners / other passports. An Indonesian guy took photo of the queue, he was asked by immigration officer to delete the photo.
Would had to wait atleast 1/2 hr in the foreigners queue to be serviced. There was no one at the Singaporean / PR counter. I immediately headed for that queue. Welcomed by immigration officer, she offered a sweet, asked where I'm coming from, scanned my passport. As i didn't have checked baggage, Was out in 5 mins.
Had lunch.Looking for a hotel, headed towards Crown Plaza.
Singapore Terminal 3

Planned to stay at the Crown Plaza as I was travelling next day. The Crown Plaza Hotel was full because of F1 in Singapore. Took MRT to the city, left my bags at the hotel and went to enjoy the outdoors.
Hope you enjoyed the report. Thanks for reading.

Conclusion

Air Asia is a good airline to travel point A to B without the frills. Being low cost, everything had a price. Crew provided customer service as required. Being a short flight, I didn't require any interaction except Hi and Bye.

I booked the ticket as the flight was cheaper than taking the bus.

KL LCCT was a functional terminal with minimal facilities. It has been replaced with a new LCC Terminal.
Singapore Changi Terminal is easy to access, clean and efficient. The flight arrived at a busy time, the immigration queue was long. As I didn't have to wait for long it was efficient for me.

Overall was happy with the level of service for the price I paid for this trip.
