Hello,
Welcome to this trip in SAS Plus to Copenhagen.
Due to my FQT status with LH I could spend my waiting time until boarding in the Lufthansa Business Lounge at the satellite building of Terminal 2 (K gates area).
However with SAS Plus you would also get access to this lounge automatically.
The lounge was quite calm and provided a basic choice of food and drinks to grab some breakfast.
Boarding started on time and priority boarding was announced before the rest of passengers was allowed to start boarding as well.
Today an Airbus A319 would take us to Copenhagen in 1 hour 20 minutes.
Welcome on board was nice and friendly in typical Scandinavian matter.
The cabin featured older style blue cloth seats which however made the cabin feel quite cosy.
Lucky enough I had three seats for myself this morning. Compared to SAS' new European cabin with grey cloth seats I actually prefer this older version as it is more comfortable and also the atmosphere is warmer with blue seats and red curtains at the galleys.
Safety demonstration was done manually and soon we were airborne on time and headed towards the north.
As soon as the cabin crew was released they started inflight service in SAS Plus - the older male purser and younger female flight attendant attending the ca. 10 passengers in SAS Plus were friendly and charming.
First nice and thick hot towels were provided - a rather rare touch nowdays on such short European sectors but still highly appreciated.
Soon after trolleys with food and drinks followed.
This morning a nice tasting salad was served using the quite new innovative and very nice looking cube design of SAS. The cutlery is in the cover of the box.
The cube was accompanied by a very nice tasting warm component which was a spinach tomato quiche.
All kind of drinks are on the house in SAS Plus and I had a great smoothie, some tea and water.
About 10 minutes later the crew also distributed some great Swedish fine chocolates which I used to finish my cup of tea.
Cabin crew was very attentive and often offered refills of drinks etc.
Soon we started our descend and had some nice views of the sea and coast before touching down 10 minutes ahead of time at Copenhagen Kastrup Airport.
Finally we docked at a very remote gate located on pier A.

Thank you for this report , on a product that is rarely seen here.
Does SAS provide with a proper business class cabin on European flights or is this their premium short haul product ?
I quite like the seats as well, and the vatering is quite original. Chocolotes are a very nice touch to end the meal.
Thanks for this FR.
Well the cube is nice but it should be served on a tray and with real cutlery to SAS plus passengers and all drinks should be in a proper glass, otherwise you basically get the same service as a Y passenger who purchased the cube.
SAS Plus is the top product on their Short haul Flights. There is no real Business Class on top of it. However still it is a good and comfortable way to travel.
I agree: more significant differences like tray service or at least real glasses would give an additional plus to SAS Plus
