This is the return portion of my trip from New York to Atlanta, on Delta.

Had to stop by the Delta museum, but it's not open on wednesdays! I was only in Atlanta on Wednesday- what a shame!
(Also note the Volvo rental)
Before heading into the airport, i made sure to do a little plane spotting
Checking in at the airport was not necessary since i used the delta app, and getting through security was not too tough.
Once getting through airside and making my way to concourse E, one of the first things I saw was Delta's brand new A350, which had just been delivered from Toulouse hours before
Ship 3507, just ferried in from Toulouse. What a treat to see a brand new aircraft, and also my first experience up close with an A350! I must say it is a magnificent aircraft.
Some other aircraft at ATL
Tonight's Aircraft, N358NB
Before boarding commenced, I asked if i could be one of the first to board to get some empty photos of the cabin, and the gate agent happily allowed me to. This was something i was really happy about.
After entering the aircraft, instead of turning right, I turned left first and chatted a bit with the captain
Even though the aircraft is over 15 years old, there would have been no way to distinguish through looking at the cabin, which seemed brand-spanking new, even though it was refurbrished in the summer of 2016. After flying on the 737 with similar seats just the day before, I could tell that the Airbus had the wider cabin through the wider seats. However, both seats on both aircrarft were comfortable and offered decent seat pitch for the flight.
The overhead consoles seemed pretty unique, and created a nice effect with the blue LED lighting.
Tonight's seat, 23A
Being one of the first to board, I had some time to chat up with the New York based flight attendants who seemed really nice. I was especically impressed when the flight attendants remembered me by name throughout the flight when they came around with snack service, which were just a snack and a drink. It was even more impressive when I remembered that it was a quarter to midnight and this would be his fourth flight today.
This photo, taken from an earlier flight, shows Delta's IFE. Delta's IFE had many of the latest movies and TV shows, and was more than enough for a 2 hour flight. In fact, it was probably enough for much more. Additionally, there was in flight wifi. While i did not pay to use it, messaging using iMessage or Messenger was free, and the speeds seemed acceptable. The rest of the flight was rather uneventful and we landed 20 minutes behind schedule, even though we were delayed 40 minutes at ATL.
We landed on 13L.
