Introduction
This report is of a flight, I undertook in 2016. I was visiting Melbourne for a short visit.

Check-In
I had check-in the flight online Got my boarding pass printed before arriving at the airport.
Being a domestic flight, I arrived an hour before flight
Arriving at Terminal 2
Took a train from central to arrive at Terminal 2.

Check-In
I wasn't carrying any luggage except handbag . Skipped the check-in and went straight for security check.

Flight Schedule
Check the flight schedule, flight would depart from gate 54.

Dinner
The flight arrives at 10.10 pm in Melbourne, decided to have dinner early before boarding.

The counter was unmanned, with still time for boarding. Found a seat and waited for boarding call.

After arrival of aircraft from Melbourne, passengers disembarked from the flight.

Boarding call was made
After the last passengers had exited the aircraft, within few mins boarding call was made.

Boarding had commenced. Boarding passes where scanned.

Window view
Passengers in the front section boarded through the aerobridge where as the rear section passengers boarded via the stair. After boarding through the stair settled in the seat.

After boarding was completed, doors were armed.

After a long taxi to runway 34R.

Departed towards the North before turning South towards Melbourne.

Being a low cost carrier, most of the articles were travel destination which TigerAir served. Skimmed through the magazine

Tiger tales and Tiger bites
Being a short, 1hr 30 min flight. Inflight buy-on-board service commenced on reaching cruise altitude. As I had my dinner early, I skipped the buy on board. Few passengers ordered food on board where payment could be made pre-paid, credit card or cash.

Approaching Melbourne and landing
With no other form of entertainment, rested for a while. Soon it was landing time.

Passed the Virgin Australia A330 parked in the remote bay.

Disembarkation
After doors were opened, disembarkation was through the stairs.

Exiting the Terminal
As I wasn't carrying any checked baggage, headed straight for the exit after disembarking the aircraft.

Bus to City
Upon exiting the terminal, headed for the bus to Long Term car park to pick car.

Conclusion

Tigerair was my airline of choice for cost. Check-in was online, flight departed and arrived on time. Being a domestic flight, was able to arrive 1 hr before flight departed. Melbourne airport was quick exit as I didn't have check-in bag. Got what had paid for, overall satisfactory flight.
