Hi,
I had a quick snack at the rather small and uncharming Lufthansa Business Class lounge in H gates area before heading to my gate for boarding.
This Airbus 330 would bring me to Miami today:
Boarding went quite orderly however Premium Economy has to board with regular Economy and does not receive any Priority.
I was welcomed on board and quickly reached my aisle seat 16 G. Pillow, blanket and water bottle were already waiting at the seat.

There was also an amenity kit waiting which provided basic but the most important content:
As you can see the Premium Economy cabin is separated by real divider walls and curtains to the Business Class in front however the separation to Economy Class in the back is only with some more or less useless dividers above the seats which do not create a very private or calm cabin feeling in Premium Economy:
Before pushback the friendly flight attendants offered a pre departure beverage - it was a great tasting orange juice with mint flavour (this drink is very popular and only served as pre departure drink in Premium Economy on flights departing from Germany).
Cabin crew also distributed simple head phones - the same that are provided in Economy Class.
We departed on time for a flight of 10 hrs 20 mins to Miami.
Cabin service started with an aperitif service where I opted for Gin Tonic & some water. It was concluded by some snacks to nibble one.
At the same time the menu was handed out:
Very cheap hot towels of disposible paper followed before lunch was served:
For lunch I opted for the chicken which tasted quite nice.
For drink I had some wine and water.
After that the service took ages before some cabin crew returned from regular Economy to offer wine/water refills.
Service ended with tea and some Baileys for me.
After a calm flight and three movies hot towels were distributed before we received the following dinner.
Again I opted for the chicken choice which tasted very nice.
The flight ended with farewell chocolates - some thing copied from Swiss?!
Soon we started descend and landed perfectly on time in sunny Miami.
Thanks for reading,

Looks like LH's Premium Economy is worth the extra expense! The food and the seat sound/look to be quite good.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this FR.
Though the appetizer could be improved instead of just being the same as in Y, LH Y+ still seems to be good value for money.
My real complaint is that the cabin is not really separated from Y and this really doesn't feel premium at all.
