A few weeks ago I flew to Buenos Aires and this is my travel report.

TIJ-MEX
AM185
I arrived at the airport less than 2 hours in advance because I did the web check in in, so I just and drop my luggage which took me only a few minutes.
After there I went to pass the security filter, so I used the exclusive security filter of the VIP Lounge of the Tijuana Airport

For use this security point you must be a user of the VIP Lounge or have Priority Pass membership. When you pass through the security point you enter directly to the Lounge

The Tijuana airport is currently being remodeled and expanded as you can see in the images

The flight departed on time

During the flight I saw the "Battle of Sexes" with Emma Stone and Steve Carell,
I drunk a Heineken with tomato juice.

2 rounds of drinks were offered.

The descent and approach to MEX occurred on a sunny and hot day where you could see the military base of Santa Lucia

The Mexico City looked clear and very beautiful. Many streets were purple because of the jacarandas trees that had just blossomed in the spring.
Dont leave us 777 !!!

I disembarked from the plane and went to the Aeromexico Premier Lounge to wait a few hours for the connection to Buenos Aires.
At that time of day there were not many people.

The food options in the lounge at that time of the day was:

Salad Bar (Mix of lettuce, vegetables, olives, dressings, pasta with pesto, cous cous and grilled chicken, so you can make your own salad to taste)
Hummus
Goat cheese dip and cream cheese dip with chipotle
Pita Chips, Bagels and different types of breads
Crudites (carrot, celery, cucumber and jicama)
Chicken and vegetable chinesse soup
Different types of sandwiches and popcorn with caramel
"Esquites" (cooked corn kernels) that can be prepared with lemon, cheese and mayonnaise
Something new is that there are now trays like the airplane.
I maked salad with a bit of cous cous, pesto pasta and vegetables accompanied by a sandwich and a glass of white mexican wine (Chardonnay).

AM028
I went to the boarding gate. When I aborded the plane was received warmly by a flight attendant and I went to my seat, I
In the seat was a bottle of water, blanket and pillow.

The plane took off and one hour later the food service was offered. Which consisted of pasta with chicken and vegetables or chicken with sautéed spinach and corn.
I taked for the second option (chicken and spinach), which was very good, the spinach was sautéed with corn kernels and a little garlic and spices, the chicken breast was large and juicy, the food was accompanied by bread, salad with dressing and a chocolate pudding. Was very good meal, I could have an eye on the pasta of my seatmate and it looked very rich too.

Something that must be emphasized is that AeroMexico is the ONLY airline in America that offers wine glass for the wine in coach class, in addition to metal cutlery. LATAM has changed its food trays in Coah Class and now it only offers a plate of food accompanied by bread ( do not offer wine glass in the tray more), so the AM product is the best in the Latin American airlines flights on long-range flights.
I Watched Dunkirk accompanied with a red wine in glass cup, cheers!

Between both meals there was a trolley with sanwiches, chips, cookies and peanuts in the back galley.
The Andes, you can see a small peak of snow, this image was March, just beginning of the autumn in the south so is not snowed.

Breakfast was offered 1 hour and a half prior landing, it consisted of scrambled eggs , accompanied by black beans and concasse style tomato sauce. Green melon with grapes, bread and white yogurt.

The descent was 20 minutes before landing, it was very nice because it was a sunny day in Buenos Aires.

Thanks for read my trip report

Thanks for this FR.
Really good service with those two hot meals.
I didn't expect AM to be at that good level, I thought they'd be more like US airlines in terms of service.
