Hi,
After some nice days of holiday at Corfu it was time to head back home. I have decided to fly Premium Economy with German leisure carrier Condor.
Premium Economy entitled me to use Condor's Priority Check In where nobody was in front of me in the queue.
My luggage was labelled with a priority sticker and soon I headed through the crowded security control towards my gate area.
Corfu airport terminal is very small and cramped and only provides some basic small shops and snack bars once airside.
Luckily enough boarding started soon and we were directed down to the apron to wait in the sun for a bus to arrive.
This was perfect as I could enjoy some excellent views of my Condor Airbus 320 - my plane wearing a special retro scheme tonight :)

Soon the bus took us to the close aircraft ans I walked up the front stairs where I was welcomed by a friendly crew.
Premium Economy was located in the front two rows and normally comes with a spare middle seat.
However tonight only 4 out of 8 seats were occupied which meant I had three seats for myself - perfect!

The cabin is very modern and comfortable enough for the medium range holiday flights where this aircraft is deployed.
A pillow and an amenity kit were already waiting on the seats.
The amenity kit is very nice - actually it is a reusable drinking water bottle filled with a lot of useful content.
Actually I have never seen amenity kits on such short flights - well done Condor.
The boarding process was very calm with nice holiday music playing and the cabin decor with palms.
On Condor you really feel like holiday.
The safety video was played on the overhead screens and we departed into the sunset skies perfectly on time.
Circling towards cruising altitude we had great views of Kerkyra old town:
The flight to Munich was announced to take 1hour40mins tonight.
Once the seat belt sign was turned off the friendly purser offered a selection of magazines which is very rare those days on intra European flights.
Some 15 mins later a meal was offered - it was a warm dish of Schnitzel accompanied by some chocolate dessert.
Served like this:
Arranged like this with all covers removed by me:
Afterwards I was asked for my choices of drinks where I opted for some coke, water & tea.
However all drinks would be available free of charge in Premium Economy including alcoholic ones.
The meal tasted nice however this new 'Taste the World' concept was just rolled out by Condor two weeks ago.
Before a proper Premium meal tray has been offered in Premium Economy on European flights. Actually I preferred the old concept as it was a full meal tray containing more stuff and real metal cutlery. Now the choice is smaller and it comes with plastic cutlery. However still a good warm meal for such a rather short flight.
The rest of the flight passed very smoothely and relaxing. The very friendly cabin crew passed by often to make sure I am comfortable or if I need more drinks etc.
On deplaning the cabin crew wished farewell and you could pick a chocolate from a basket :)
We landed ten minutes ahead of schedule and I received my luggage quickly among the first due to the perfectly working priority luggage handling.

Amazing! Best amenity kit I've ever seen. The water bottle is a great idea!
I loved that livery!
Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks so much for this report,
I was always keen to know more about middle haul flights with Condor!
Music selection onboard is quite good?
Wish you a great day!
Thanks for this FR.
I'm impressed by the amenity kit and the pillow and blanket, but the meal looks clearly like some kind of BoB meal not even pre ordered.
Thanks for all your Feedback and interest in this Condor flight!
There was no music selection available as the inseat audio was inactive on this flight-however cartoons and documentaries without sound were played on the overhead screens.
Indeed the meal is the same that you can preorder in regular Economy as well for around 11 Euro. However those meals are preorder only - they cannot be purchased on board. They just automatically load them for Premium Economy.
