Introduction
This report is from 2014. I was travelling to Mumbai via Singapore.
Driving to Airport
Was getting dropped at the airport.
Arriving at the International Terminal
Check-In, Immigration and Security
Check-In queue for this flight was long, as I didn't check-in online. Had to wait in queue for the boarding pass and Australian immigration card.
My baggage was below the allocated limit of 30 Kg. Counter staff checked my passport and Visa and then printed the boarding pass. Was informed of the gate number and handed my documents.
Next, immigration, which was quick as this being an off-peak time, very few people in the queue. Security was quick, I took out laptop, belt and anything else that beeps and put it through the machine.
After completing the security, passed the duty-free area, I wasn't making any purchase. Went to have meal. Below air-side view from food court

Boarding was called soon, Passport and boarding pass was checked. Flight was full from the crowd at the gate.

Tried again and started the flight information channel.

Pushback commenced upon boarding of all passengers. Flight was full. Being Autumn, it started getting dark by the time by the time pushback completed and taxi commenced .

There was a short drizzle, while waiting for takeoff. Virgin Australia B737 was to follow the SQ departure.

After arriving at Terminal 3, took the SkyTrain to Terminal 2 for the next flight. Found a place to charge phone and sleep.
