Hi,
Munich Airport was already quite deserted when I arrived. Consequently security check was very quick.
I took the SkyTrain that connects the main Terminal 2 with the satellite building where my SAS flight would depart from tonight.
I took a nice sunset shot of a Lufthansa Airbus 340-600 waiting for boarding.
I spent ca. 50 minutes in the Lufthansa Business Lounge at K gates satellite building.
The lounge was quiet and featured a good choice of options to have a nice dinner.

Boarding started a little bit late and the flight would be very full.
A friendly crew welcomed everybody on board and I took my seat 2F in SAS Plus cabin. Luckily the middle seat remained empty tonight - no gurantee however for this in SAS Plus compared to other European Business Class products. But on the other side SAS Plus is a Premium Economy product which acts as the SAS top offer on their domestic & European destinations flights.
The cabin of this Airbus 319 featured the new redesigned cabin. It looks modern and also includes USB power outlets at every seatback.
The aircraft also is equipped with WIFI which is free in SAS Plus.
Once boarding is completed a flight time of 1 hour 20 minutes is announced and a manual safety demonstration conducted.
We power into the dark nights and soon the fasten seat belt signs are turned off.
As this is a very late evening flight the cabin lights are kept dimmed throughout the whole flight.
Soon nice hot towels are distributed in SAS Plus.
The food trolley follows and every SAS Plus passenger receives a nice paper box that contains a good tasting cold meal.
Warm breads and butter are offered in addition from a basket.

The cutlery could be optimized in my opinion as it is too short for the deep box and you get dirty hands quite easy.
Minutes later you can choose whatever you like from the beverages trolley.
I had some water and coke which is served in plastic cups.
About 20 minutes later more drinks are offered and I decide to have a cup of tea.
Very nice fine chocolates produced in Sweden are offered in SAS Plus now from a tray.
A perfect combination to end the flight before we touch down at rainy and windy Copenhagen Kastrup Airport.
Thanks for reading,
FlyAlex
Thanks for this FR.
Design wise the box is really nice, but real cuttlery and glasses should be used.
Thanks for this FR.
"SAS Plus is a Premium Economy" but unfortunatly sold as a business product.
For a 1:30 flight the catering is a real joke. A box :(
The previous seats ok the A319 started looking old but I preferred them as they werde more comfortable than all those new slim line seats.
Regarding Food: for sure a real tray and proper glasses throughout the whole flight would be nicer and more adequate to their Premium product as which they well it but at least the Design of the Box is very nice and the Food Tasty and somehow extraordinary in combinations
