After a couple of weeks in The Philippines (I was on a holiday while waiting to start for a new job in The Maldives), it was time to go back to The Maldives and this time, I wanted to try a different airline… Well, Air Asia it is.
But first, giving thanks for the all guidance all these years….
Some B&W snap of the same cathedral.
My flight departed from the new Terminal 2 of the Mactan Cebu International Airport which opened in July this year. The airport looked, felt and smelt new. Here are some photos.
After clearing immigration and final security check, this one leads to DF area.
Some more photos of the inside of the terminal.
And some outside views…
The Puregold wrapped A320 that took me to KUL that day…

Reading materials, legroom etc…
Landed into a nice weather in KL..
Thanks for this quick look at Air Asia Philippines. Seems like it was okay for what it was... an LCC A320. I really like the aesthetics of the new terminal at Cebu. It has a distinctive look.
Thank you so much..
Hi Manuel!
What a beautiful terminal! No wonder it smelled nice with all that wood! It looks really nice and welcoming.
The seats look comfortable for an LCC. The sleeping guy confirms it! At least they have not adopted the "ironing board" seats so common in high density cabins nowadays.
In KL, or in KFC, you mean?? XDDD Yeah, nice weather also makes me hungry.
Well, I'm hungry all the time, actually.
Nice report! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the positive feedback. I always feel you have positive feedback all the time and I like that.
