China Southern has a lot of emotional value to me. Growing up in Harbin, I've flown their Airbus A320 numerous times.
Another CZ A320 B-6766 is going to Yantai (YNT) today.

Meal service had begun. I had reserved the fruit platter option online, I couldn't sleep last night with so much excitement about airplane meal. LOL
I thought that was a bag full of trash, and I was confused when the FA handed me trash… Usually it goes the other way…
After 10 seconds of awkward eye contact between the FA and me, as it turns out that it is my breakfast!!!
Nice job on economy meal presentation China Southern, what a beautiful plastic bag!!!

Overall, I had a pleasant flight on China Southern. The lack of entertainment seems to be a norm flying domestic in China. The fruit platter was definitely underwhelming, but I wouldn't expect much. Remember the time when British Airways served a granola bar to trans-atlantic premium economy passengers? I will fly with China Southern again if their schedule works for me.

I loved your report. So many experiences in a single flight!
Luckily you ended up in the correct flight. My worst nightmare would be getting lost in an airport in China, without knowing a single word in Chinese!

That's the most unpresentable presentation I have ever seen! Well, it was your pre-ordered meal, and the bag was probably showing that this meal was "special"? Or was it just laziness from the part of the FA?
