Hello everyone!
First I would like to thanks the team for the new publisher!
Just couldn't wait and try the new publisher to share my trip to Singapore via Hong Kong last week.
I chose the earliest flight from Narita to Hong Kong in order to arrive at Singapore by 8pm, so I could have my dinner with my Singaporean friend.
Keisei Skyliner, the fastest way from Tokyo to Narita.

Inside Skyliner train, cozy but expensive, as it costs a double of local trains

Check-in was smooth, no queue. However security check took me about 10~15min, as my CX silver membership didn't cover me on the fast track.

Got my boarding pass and lounge invitation

Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge
After passing security and passport control, did a quick lounge hopping to grab my breakfast. Don't expect much from CX's Narita Lounge, it's just a space with some basic sitting areas, pre-packed food and drinks. Although it's named "First and Business Class Lounge", it has nothing to do with first class. If you have OW sapphire or above, you better opt for JAL Sakura Lounge instead.

CX509 tokyo/narita to hong kong
It's worth mentioning that Cathay Pacific is notorious for equipment swap. The scheduled aircraft type was A350-900 when I made my booking. Just the day before the departure it was suddenly changed to A330-300. Of course I didn't mind at all and understand that there were always swaps due to operation needs. But there might be someone who just wanted to try the brand new A350 aircraft ?

The aircraft used today, A330-300 (B-LBC)

To be honest, in term of the seat configuration, I still give my preference on A330 over A350. (2-4-2 vs 3-3-3)

A few Vanilla Air's A320s just next to me

In winter, it takes an hour longer (abt 5hr) flying from Japan to Hong Kong due to strong head wind

Just a while after take off, Captain reminds passengers on the right hand side to take a look of the beautiful Mt. Fuji

Time for the in-flight meal. Yakisoba (Japanese fried noodle) with fish fillet OR Sausage/Omelette. I opted for Japanese one and the taste was OK. CX was notorious for its inedible meals just not long time ago?. But recently I heard that there is improvement and glad to see CX is working hard!

Landed at Hong Kong Intl Airport at 1:16pm

Transfer to my next flight CX635 to Singapore

Thanks for sharing your FR
The lounge food offer is very light.
What a gorgeous picture of the Fuji-San :)
The catering was ok
"Although I recently stick to Star Alliance more"
Why did you choose CX over a Star Alliance company like SQ (with a direct flight) ?
See you soon for a next report
Hi Lagentsecret, thanks for your comment!
The reason why I flew CX because I wanted to try the brand new Changi T4, and my CX silver membership is going to expire soon. Moreover, I could enjoy a free stopover at HKG to meet my friends and family.
