Hi again,
Welcome to the last report of the series that initially supposed to look like this….
1) 07.09 - SN 2560 WAW-BRU - A319 - https://flight-report.com/en/report/35716/Brussels-Airlines-SN2560-Warsaw-WAW-Brussels-BRU
2) 07.09 - SN 3815 BRU - LIS - A320 - https://flight-report.com/en/report/35817/Brussels-Airlines-SN-3815-Brussels-BRU-Lisbon-LIS
3) 16.09 - SN 3816 LIS - BRU - A320
4) 16.09 - SN 2559 BRU-WAW - A 319
but ended up with a sudden cancellation of the flight back and rebooking for a TAP/LOT combo with a short stop in Prague
16.09 - TP 1300 LIS-PRG - A320 - https://flight-report.com/en/report/36300/TAP-Air-Portugal-TP-1300-Lisbon-LIS-Prague-PRG
16.09 - LO 526 PRG-WAW - Q400
The stop in PRG was one of these when you literally have time only to pass from one gate to another, especially when LOT flight unexpectedly arrives early and boarding starts on time.

Our aircraft for this flight was Q400 and it was funny as two of my friends have never flown a turboprop before and seemed quite anxious about it. I don't like turboprops cause they are noisy and "nervous" especially in bad weather conditions but Q400 is ok for a 50 minutes hop from Prague to Warsaw.

During boarding I manage to catch a one and only Czech Airlines widebody - A330-300 departing to ICN being the airline's one and only long haul destination.

The cabin crew on this flight is 100% male, a thing that doesn't happen too frequently in LOT. Standard cabin of this Q400, still quite fresh and clean.

In September's edition of Kaleidoscope magazine LOT advertised convenient connection flights to Australia in cooperation with Singapore Airlines.

Shortly after take off the standard beverage and sweet snack service starts. It's a nonsense that you will have the same service on a 50 minutes flight to PRG and a 3 hours trip to MAD.

Before landing leaflets with instructions for transfer passengers are distributed. I take one to see what's inside.

LOT current fleet facts - my favourite part of every onboard magazine.

After a short and very calm flight (my friends say they are not afraid of turboprops anymore) we land in Warsaw on time.

Last shot of the cabin

As the flight was short and not very interesting I would like to share with you some bonus pictures from my stay in the south coast of Portugal - the Algarve region.
For me the best attraction there was the ocean itself. I love sea, its smell, I may spend hours just watching it. In western Algarve it's not only the ocean but also a very picturesque shore with lots of small bays, beaches and very picturesque rocks.

A great place to visit is Saint Vincent Cape (Cabo Sao Vicente) that is the south-east edge of Portugal and Europe, however not the westernmost part of mainland Europe that is Cabo da Roca situated close to Lisbon.

You may visit the old fortress with lighthouse and impressive cliffs

Last sausage before America

Algarve offers also one of the most impressive sunsets

That's all for now. Thanks for reading!
Thanks for this FR.
Nothing fancy about this flight but it got you home on time without further stress after this rebooking.
I share your opinion that it's strange to have the sale service on a 1 hour flight and a 3 hour flight.
But on BoB airlines that would be the case too though.
Thanks for your comment, LOT service is a shame, hope they do something about it soon.
Fantastic report, holidays and bonus!!
LOT's onboard service is really mean. Do they really give you a Prince Polo on the flight to Madrid???
All in all, I think that the sudden last-minute rebooking was a positive thing!
Thanks a lot for sharing!
Hi Nechus! Yes, their European service is the same on all the routes and the only difference comparing to domestic service is that they serve tea/coffee that is not available on domestic routes... Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Loukas, thanks for this last report in the series. It's interesting that the rebooking had you connect in PRG between two *A airlines--not a very common *A connecting hub, so it makes the experience a bit unique.
I'm not a fan of turboprobs either because of the noise. It's been years since I've been on one and will usually avoid them if I have a choice.
Nice bonus of Portugal, looks beautiful.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Kevin! Thanks for your comment! This time it wasn't possible to avoid the turboprop as it wasn't planned but the flight was quite pleasant.
