Hi,
Security was very quick that Monday morning through a dedicated Fast Track area.
On the way to the Business Lounge at the end of pier A I spotted some nice apron action during sunrise.
Frankfurt is always a great place for spotting with so many huge aircraft from all over the world.

The lounge was very crowded that morning and I only had a very small continental breakfast.
Here is a view of my Airbus 321 waiting for the flight to Porto this morning.
Boarding started ca. 15 minutes late but with a dedicated Priority boarding call / lane which worked rather fine.
A friendly crew welcomed me on board and I took my seat in the second row. Business Class only featured 3 rows today and there was only one other passenger besides me.

Once boarding was completed we started our long taxiing while a manual safety demosntration was conducted.
Lufthansa seems to have reintroduced pre-recorded welcome and farewell announcements in foreign languages again like in Portuguese on this flight.
They used to do that in the past but they have stopped during the last ca. two years to my impression.
So nice to see they are back as they add a very professional and International feeling.
I spotted some nice Condor action including their interim Airbus 330.
We started into sunny skies towards the south and started our calm flight of 2 hours 20 minutes to Porto.
Ca. 15 minutes after take off the curtain to Economy Class was closed and printed menus were distributed - a very nice feature on medium haul flights.
Some more minutes later service started with a piping hot towel.
Then the very friendly purser taking care of Business Class asked for my main dish choice for breakfast where I decided for the scrambled eggs.
A very nice big breakfast tray was served minutes later followed by a huge selection of warm bread and pastries from a basket.
Every single part of the breakfast tasted excellent - I especially liked the smoothie and the pastry.
Drink choices were served directly from the galley.
Ca. 20 minutes later refills and more bread was offered.
Once my tray was removed I had some ore tea and enjoyed the nice panorama outside.

The crew was friendly thoughout the rest of the flight and we were having a very nice and interesting chat about Lufthansa service procedures on intra European flights.
Soon we started our descend and touched down at sunny Porto.

Wow, food looks delicious and I wish that's how premium meals served in the US looked! I get often tired of the typical offering of eggs vs cereal, and this offering looks awesome. Thank you for sharing!
