First time on the Boeing B777-200LR

Hello guys welcome to my Trip Report!
Today, I am flying the Delta Boeing B777-200LR from LAX to Atlanta.

Starting the day with a healthy breakfast (junk food at 7AM)

TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal) is the best terminal in LAX. Not only does it have shops and restaurants, it also has aesthetically pleasing rooftop.

Delta Airbus A330-300 going to Tokyo Haneda

Qantas Airbus A380-800 going ah Melbourne MEL

My inbound aircraft is coming from Sydney operating DL40 was delayed due to high winds at Sydney.

There she/he/it is! N708DN, a 9 year old Boeing B777-200LR dedicated to David C Garrett JR, a former Delta CEO

Boarding (finally).

Walking down the jetbridge

(I am not stalking an old man)

Delta One Business class. Swear I am not being jealous, but the seats don't look very comfortable to me.

Back to the pit of economy, where I belong.

Here's Delta's pathetically small IFE screen on a 9 year old aircraft. Glad that the 777 fleet is getting a retrofit soon.

Legroom is pretty decent. One of the best benefits of flying an international widebody on a short 4 hour domestic hoip.

Window seat of course

Taxing to runway 24L

Can't wait to hear that GE90 spool up!

Delta 194, shoreline 220, cleared for takeoff runway 24L, wind clam.

Favourite combo: coke and peanuts

Gotta love this feature

80% on my native country… Yay I got a B

Coco

The lavatory was clean and stocked with basic amenities.

Yes the 3-3-3 configuration still exists

Back to seat

My second can of coke today… Calories don't count in the air

Descending into Hotlanta

Ah I just lost three hours… :(

Almost there

Turning final
The landing was pretty "solid" even a bit rough by YouTube standards

Vacated the runway

Parked at the "main" terminal (Concourse T). The pilot announced that this is to help other passengers to make their connection since this we are already 90 minutes delayed.

^^^ Is this really necessary for a 4 hour flight?

Welcome to Hotlanta!

Short 30 minutes metro to the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead
Atlanta, GA

MLK memorial

Coca Cola museum

CNN Center

Ending my post with the Spirit of Delta. Thanks for reading!
While it is definitely one's opinion to rate, I find the 9.0 for catering way too steep and unexplainable. Just a small bag of peanuts, pretzels or some sort of small snack on a four hour flight is simply a very poor standard for an airline what's suppose to be more than a LCC. But thanks for sharing!
Haha yeah I can see what you mean. However, in the United States, economy flyers have lower expectations on catering. It is quite unfair to judge them based on an "European" or "Asian" scale where people often get complimentary meals.
Hahahaha You should tag PassangerShaming account on Instagram :D I don't get it why oohh why people not just gave those junk to a cabin crew when they're on the aisle. Just don't understand....
Thanks for the report! HARRY_HE
Love the bonus at the end with the Delta Museum!!!
Wow, I actually flew this bird in 2015 on PVG-LAX. Nice to see it still in good condition and albeit the horrible PTV we had on our flight.
