Hey guys welcome to another flight report. Firstly a video version can be found on my youtube channel. If you want you can check it out( link is attached above). Anyways back to this report so i was quiet excited for this flight as Qatar Airways are one of the best airlines in the world. And it was on my favourite aircraft the majestic Boeing 777-300er.

I arrived at Amsterdam Schipol Airport at around 1PM. Since i had already checked in online check in did not take much time. But the airport sure was extremely crowded as i expected it would be .

A little plane spotting before heading to my gate . A KLM Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-300ER heading to Mexico City and Vancouver respectively. KLM are one of the few airlines left that dont have boring euro white liveries.

And there she is , my ride to Doha. A Boeing 777-300ER with the registration A7-BEJ delivered to Qatar Airways in May 2016. The Qatar Airways livery sure is one of my favourites on the Boeing 777.

After an organised boarding procedure made to my seat , seat 38A towards the end of the aircraft for the next 6 hours. The seat had a very responsive IFE screen, an IFE remote and a USB port.

The legroom on this Boeing 777 was definitely the best i have ever seen on a Boeing 777. What is you guys opinion on this legroom?

A comfy pillow and blanket was available on each seat. Perfect to take a nap on this flight.

The headset for the IFE system was also available in the seat pocket. Nothing to special about them

The cabin crew then distributed some refreshing towels , which i feel is nice but would have been better had they given hot towel considering Qatar Airways are a 5 star airline.

The cabin crew then distributed the menu for the flight.. And it was pretty impressive that for the main meal there were 3 options to choose from.A menu card in economy class was a good touch.

After a quick pushback the long taxi to Runway 36L began. Seriously if you are connecting in Amsterdam be warned the taxi times can be extremely long and that is for both landing and departing aircrafts.

And after a powerful take off we lift from Amsterdam and are greeted by some amazing views of the greenery around the Netherlands.
For those interested the full take off video can be found here.

Climbing to our cruising altitude of 33000 feet . Seriously day time flights are just amazing with some stunning views.

The inflight service commenced shortly with a serving of pretzels and a choice of drink for which i opted for a coke

2 hours into the flight the dinner service commenced . Out of the 3 options i opted for the lamb one. It consisted of Lamb Machboos( Arabic style rice) which came along with orange and carrot salad, a lemon posset and a foccacia .Overall a very good meal , loaded with flavour and very good in terms of quantity.

Any Nine-Nine fans out there?

the seat pocket contents ( sorry for the bad lighting the cabin lights were turned off): Boeing 777-300er safety card, " Oryx" inflight magazine and a disposal bag.

After a really good 3 hour nap woke up just in time for the pre landing snack. There was a choice of either a chicken or veggie wrap and i opted for the chicken one along with which got a can of 7up. The wrap was delicious and filled generously with perfectly spiced chicken.

And just like that we began our decent into Doha in complete darkness. Wow the 6 hours really went by really quick on this flight.

Doha sure looked amazing from the airplane window , with all the lights lit up.

On short finals for Runway 34R

And touchdown in Hamad International Airport. , Doha, Kudos to the pilots for the really smooth landing .

A little bit of spotting while we taxi to our gate. A Qatar Airways Airbus A320 and Boeing 787-8 getting prepped for their next journeys.

And we then make it to our assigned gate. And those huge GE90S are powered off. Which brings us to the end of this flight report.
