Changi Airport (Terminal 1) and the Jewel 
 
Premium Economy, which is really just extra legroom in economy class with a few additional touches ( hot towels, newspapers, slippers and smaller cabin where the iights were turned off a lot earlier than economy class). Catering was the same as economy class.  



Boeing 787-9 parked at the gate.

Do note the leg room was for premium economy on this flight.  Standard economy contains 2-3 inches less.

Inflight Meal (Dinner after take off) 
No breakfast or pre-arrival snack was offered on this red eye flight. 

This was the noodle option. The sauce tasted like Singaporean black pepper crab.  Overall, it was a good meal but I would have preferred a breakfast than a dinner.

Lavatory (Buisness and Premium Economy Lavatory).  Usual 787 lavatory with the grey granite counter option. There is a window too. 
There were no cups in the lavatory, which was disappointing.

Conclusion

Overall the service was excellent from the cabin crew. This was a 5.5 hours red eye flight and instead of a 90 mins dinner service serving breakfast would have been better (or even a light continental breakfast). I have flown this route on Singapore Airlines before three times before and they also only serve one hot meal and no pre-arrival snack/meal.
No breakfast/pre-arrival meal is offered in business class for this route either.

This was on a new 787. The seats were comfortable and seem to be of the same type that is on KLM's 77W/77E fleet.

More extensive use of the mood lighting would have been better.
