Hey guys welcome to another flight report. This is one of the older flights i was on last year from Karachi to Bangkok onboard a Thai Airbus A330-300. If you want to see a video version of this trip it is available on my youtube channel. The link is attached below.

After a quick ride from my house to the airport made it to the check in area for my flight. Looking at the large amount of people there figured out its going to be a more or less full flight. Even though there were many people the check in process was smooth

After check in made my way to the international satellite terminal. I seriously dont remember how many times i walked through this walkway considering i travelled out of Karachi so many times.

After making it to the gate , i noticed the Aircraft already waiting at the gate to fly me to Bangkok. The aircraft was 2010 built Airbus A330-300 with the registration of HS-TET. Apologise for the bad image. One the reasons i dont like night flights.

And after a while it was time to board the aircraft. The boarding process was a bit chaotic considering there were no boarding groups so everyone made it to the gate all at once.

Had quite a nice view from my seat of the Rolls Royce Trent 700s. A question for you guys , do you guys like sitting upfront on an aircraft or towards the back of the cabin.

A PIA Boeing 777-300ER taxied into the gate besides ours operating flight PK760 from Jeddah.

The seat features were an IFE screen , although do note that this flight was back in July 2018 and as of now Thai Airways have retrofitted all there older Airbus A330s hence you wont see a cabin like this anymore if you travel onboard a Thai Airbus a330. The legroom was also quite decent for the 5 hours to Bangkok.

On the seat present were a comfortable pillow and blanket and also a set of headphones were in the seat pocket to enjoy the IFE system.

A very interesting Inflight safety video was shortly shown on the IFE screen.

After a quick pushback we taxied over to Runway 25L for take off.

The moment we entered the Runways the RR Trent 700s were put on full throttle and you could hear the iconic sound of a RR Trent 700 powering up and after a quick take off roll we blasted lifted of the runway on our way to Bangkok.Besides a few views after take off there was not much to see at least for the first half of the flight.

Shortly after take off the cabin crew started preparations for the meal service. For the meal option there was a choice of chicken or beef for which i opted for the chicken option. The meal consisted of Thai style chicken , jasmine rice and pickled vegetables , along with which there was also a feta and cucumber salad, some kind of Thai cake , fresh bread roll and a bottle of water .
Overall a very tasty meal packed with lots of flavour , although wasnt quite a fan of the consistency of the cake.

The IFE system on this A330 was pretty decent. It had quiet a few good movies to choose from , along with with a couple of TV shows were also available in different languages. Many games and other features were also available on this flight . To conclude i dont see anyone getting board onboard Thai Airways.
After the dinner service i dozed for around 2 hours and got some really good sleep.

After my excellent nap woke up just in time for sunrise. Truly sunrises are an amazing sight from 38000 feet in the air. Also got a good view of the Rolls Royce engines.

And just like that we commenced our descent into Suvurnbhumi Airport. Time went by quiet quickly on this flight. A little bit of cloud surfing on our descent.

On finals for Runway
If you are interested the approach into Suvarnabhumi Airport is available on my YouTube channel. The link is attached above.

Touchdown in Suvarnabhumi airport on time. Good job by the crew with the smooth touchdown

A couple of Thai A380s while taxing towards our remote stand. What are your thoughts on the Airbus A380.

A Thai Airbus A330-300 at one of the gates after arriving from Islamabad as "Thai 349"

And after a quick taxi made it to our remote stand. Which brings us to the end of this flight report.
Thanks for this interesting FR. Is Thai the only far east airline traveling to Pakistan? Looks like the on-board service is still good.
Do they serve anything (breakfast) before landing?
Thank you ? not really we do get flights from China southern, Air China and Malindo Air to Pakistan ✈️ And ya that was the only meal served on the flight
