A short reminder of the routing:

Both security and police controls  were cleared pretty fast, I make my way to the Schengen lounge

klm crown lounge schengen

Friendly welcome as per almost usual and the lounge is pretty empty:

The buffet is as the lounge is… almost empty :)

There are two soups:

The cold cuts are almost gone, the cheese board almost full. No wonder as this is processed industrial cheese.

Pasta with tomato sauce or plain rice. No thank you.

Second row for me today:

I don't like those seats as I find them to hard to relax or to sleep. I didn't close my eyes on that flight so this time I didn't hate it that much :)

The menu:

photo dsc_0830_resultat

Here as well, there is a clear cost cutting: a few months before an amuse bouche was served. Instead there are only almonds and worse: just plain almond, neither smoked nor salted. The dessert was also always something special, now it is more or less a kind of muffin.

photo dsc_0831_resultat

Result? The almonds were tasteless, the salad left of the salmon was ok, the one of the right had no dressing. The salmon was too fishy for my taste.
The muffin (officially called apple pie) is a muffin that has a vague taste of apple. I'll forget that box pretty quickly.

The flight continues quietly:

Digestives are offered after the meal, Baileys for me. This time it comes with the smocked almonds and boy, I like those ones !!

Conclusion

The meal was absolutely below average. I didn't like it.

The crew was nice and charming but isn't enough to compensate for the bad catering and the bad seats of the E-75.

Nothing to say about AMS or EAP.

Again a big thank you for reading this series, another one is coming up very soon.
