Welcome back! My wife likes to do one charity half-marathon a year. This year she chose to do the flagship St. Jude race in Memphis, TN. As that is a 10+ hour drive, we decided to fly instead. Our routing back home will take us from Memphis to Atlanta to Columbia.

Glad to have you along with us and hope you enjoy the trip!

Please excuse the briefness of the report as the flight was very short. The picture quality is also poor as well. Sorry :(

I'll do better on my trip next week to Maine.

Arrival/Transfer

With a short layover, we made no time leaving D8 and making our way to the C gates.  We headed to the Sky Train which is located at the center of each concourse. We miss timed the train but the distance between D and C is short so we decided to walk. Oddly enough, we arrived just at the same time as if we would have waited.

All in all, we arrived at our gate B13 at 11:40, only 10 minutes of transit!!!

Boarding

Boarding began at 11:48 and at 11:52 Sky priority was announced. We received this elevated boarding group due to being in First on our prior flight.

Seat

The seat was lumpy but clean. Leg room was tight but more than enough for a short flight. The one saving grace is adjustable headrests.

My wife and I were located on the port side of the aircraft which featured 2 seats as opposed to 3 seats on the starboard side.

Beverage/Food/IFe

Power plugs with USB chargers were provided under each seat. Wifi was available as well. The seatback pocket had your usual safety card, wifi book, BOB (none offered) and the Delta Sky Magazine.

On flights under 250 miles, Delta does not provide any snacks or drinks in the main cabin. I have come to expect this and knew going in.

In-Flight/Landing

We pushed back on time at 12:21and made a hastily taxi to 9L. Wheels up was 12:29 with a take off towards the east and Columbia.

After a very short and uneventful flight we landed on Runway 11 at 1:00 after only 31 minutes in flight.

A few short moments later we were at gate 9!

Thanks for joining me on this journey. I look forward to seeing you again next week for a flight to Portland Maine!

Conclusion

Hope you enjoyed this very short flight report. I feel bad about how short these are but I also know I am the only person on here who likely flies this route.

I promise to do better next week on my AA from CLT to PWM in Domestic First!
