After a long, multi-week trip to PRC and Taiwan, I was excited to fly China Airlines A359 biz class product, even if it was only on a small hop from TPE to NRT

After staying at the W Taipei, I was full on in the W mood and booked the hotel car to the airport which was fantastic. After a quick check in, I headed to the China Air lounge which was efficient and empty. Grabbed some dim sum and Taiwan Beer for good measure and headed to the gate. Unfortunately, I was kicking myself I didn't prolong my stay at the lounge, as most of the restrooms and sitting areas were under construction near my gate, which lead to alot of wondering around

B-18906 was a gorgeous, 2-1/2 year old A359 and I couldn't wait to get on board

I was warmly greeted by the purser who escorted me to my seat and offered me a drink and snack. I chose Taiwanese plum wine, which was deliciously sweet and savory. The cabins on these are gorgeous (apologies for not having more photos) and have a very modern feel. I have a feeling however they might get a bit dated quickly with the zebra-esque wood.
The seat was incredibly comfortable and firm

As a beer guy, I was over the moon to see they had Buckskin which is a micro-ish brewery in Taiwan. The menu read very interesting but I decided to go with the Japanese selection since we were headed to Tokyo

Buckskin and John Wick. Great combo

The bento box delivered on flavor and the Miso Salmon was superb

Nice review of this short hop, food looked good!
Thanks! Wish their long haul pricing was more competitive or they'd be an easy choice over MU
