Review of American Airlines flight from Cordoba to Miami in Economy

El 25 de Diciembre de 2019 empezaríamos nuestro viaje hacia Los Ángeles con American Airlines, previamente habíamos hecho el tramo Aeroparque-Cordoba con Latam.

Salimos puntualmente a las 07:15 de nuestro hotel y llegamos al aeropuerto a las 07:40, donde haríamos el check in.

On December 25, 2019 we would begin our trip to Los Angeles with American Airlines, we had previously made the Aeroparque-Cordoba section with Latam.

We left promptly at 07:15 from our hotel and arrived at the airport at 07:40, where we would check in.

Por suerte al llegar había muy poca gente en los mostradores y luego de un tiempo un poco largo debido a un problema de la aerolinea al completar los formularios de check in pudimos despachar las valijas y disfrutar del VIP de AA2000.

Luckily upon arrival there were very few people at the counters and after a little long time due to an airline problem when completing the check in forms we were able to dispatch the bags and enjoy the AA2000 VIP.

Luego de pasar 1:20 aproximadamente en el ViP embarcamos sin ningún problema, el día de hoy nos había tocado un B767-300 N342AN, su configuración era de 2-3-2 en la parte turista pero para muchos pasajeros la sorpresa era que no había IFE, yo ya estaba enterado del problema y tenia mi iPad con mucha carga sin embargo para un vuelo de 8 horas no me parecía un horror.

After spending approximately 1:20 in the ViP we embarked without any problem, today we had a B767-300 N342AN, its configuration was 2-3-2 in the tourist part but for many passengers the surprise was that no there was IFE, I was already aware of the problem and I had my iPad with a lot of charge however for an 8 hour flight it didn't seem like a horror.

Pasamos por el control obligatorio de American Airlines ya que al ser un vuelo que iba a Estados Unidos se hace un control extra. Y embarcamos en el grupo 8

Despegamos a horario y al llegar a nuestra altitud crucero, los Tripulantes de cabina empezaron con el servicio, el primer turno era un almuerzo como opciones había carne o pasta, tengo una foto de la opción carne.

We took off on schedule and upon arriving at our cruise altitude, the cabin crew began with the service, the first shift was a lunch as there were meat or pasta options, I have a photo of the meat option

La siguiente foto Corresponde al menú de Pescado que había que Buisness class, como no puedo comer con Sal desde un principio hablé con American Airlines para pedir comida baja en sodio pero lamentablemente AA no daba comidas especiales desde Cordoba por lo que se lo comentamos a PACO el jefe de cabina del vuelo y con su buena onda dijo que iba a tratar de conseguir un plato que sobrara y finalmente eso pasó, por lo qué hay que destacar la actitud y profesionalismo de este jefe de cabina.

The following photo corresponds to the Fish menu that had Buisness class, as I can not eat with Sal from the beginning I spoke with American Airlines to order low sodium food but unfortunately AA did not give special meals from Cordoba so we told PACO The cabin manager of the flight and with his good vibes said that he was going to try to get a plate that was left over and finally that happened, so we must highlight the attitude and professionalism of this cabin manager.

Una vez retirado el almuerzo la cabina se acondicionó para que los pasajeros puedan descansar, eso sucedió y al faltar 1:30 pasaron con el segundo y último servivio de comida que era una merienda que consiste en un brownie y un sandwich de JyQ. El punto a favor que tiene AA es que dejan una lata entera de bebida a elección eso es una gran ventaja comparada a muchas aerolíneas como por ejemplo Delta, sin embargo consideró por previa experiencia que Delta hoy en dia supera a AA.

Once lunch was removed, the cabin was conditioned so that passengers could rest, that happened and after 1:30 they passed with the second and last meal service that was a snack consisting of a brownie and a Ham and chesse sandwich. The point in favor of AA is that they leave a whole can of drink of choice that is a great advantage compared to many airlines such as Delta, however, he considered by previous experience that Delta now exceeds AA.

Finalmente empezamos el descenso a MIAMI y aterrizamos con normalidad, le pregunté a Paco si podía sacarle una foto a la cabina y el sin problema le preguntó a los pilotos que autorizaron a qué pueda hacerlo. Solo el primer oficial se veía interesado en hacer alguna pregunta, dado que el piloto y el copiloto estaban usando sus teléfono. Otro punto a favor para Delta quienes el año Pasado al viajar de Atlanta a São Paulo los pilotos me dejaron pasar y sentarme en la cabina (Ya estando en tierra) , me sacaron una foto y hablaron un poco del avión.

Finally we started the descent to MIAMI and landed normally, I asked Paco if he could take a photo of the cabin and he asked the pilots who authorized what he could do it without problem. Only the first officer was interested in asking any questions, since the pilot and co-pilot were using their phones. Another point in favor for Delta who, last year when traveling from Atlanta to São Paulo, the pilots let me pass and sit in the cabin (already on the ground), they took a picture of me and talked a little about the plane.
