Booking & routing
This flight was part of my trip to going skiing in Big Sky, Montana. All 4 original flights would be on United. My schedule looked like this:
MSY-DEN A320
DEN-BZN A319
BZN-IAH E175
IAH-MSY 737-900
However, due to Coronavirus issues closing the resort, I had to cancel my return flight and rebook on American.
at the airport
I live about 2 hours away from the airport so I left my house around 4:45 A.M. Despite the issues regarding the Coronavirus in the country, I decided to pursue my travel plans. I was especially eager to fly today because it would be my first time flying out of New Orleans' new terminal!
I arrived at 6:45 A.M. to an EMPTY airport. I figured it would be like this because we were past the morning rush and the Coronavirus issues caused many to cancel their plans.
Checking in for my flight was easy and painless as there was no line

The consolidated security check was EMPTY as well but I had some issues with my carry-ons so the process took about 15 minutes.

I had about 30 minutes to spare so I decided to visit the recently opened Club at MSY with my priority pass membership. It was empty and had plenty of breakfast offerings

I highly recommend this lounge and I would have rated it in the final review however I the only club option listed for MSY was the Delta Sky Club so this needs to be updated since besides this club, there is also a United Club at the airport.

The terminal was very clean and nice however I wish I would have departed from Concourse B or C as Concourse A is mainly used for extra gates and international arrivals and departures so there was not any shops there. I brought my camera on this trip to do some plane spotting but unfortunately the windows were fogged up at this hour and there was a hallway between the gate and the terminal which obstructed the view of my aircraft, N467UA.

Gate A5

We began boarding at 7:56 A.M., right on schedule. I was in group 3 and I soon settled down in my Economy Plus Seat, 11F.
on the plane
11F had lots of legroom and came with power outlets. It also came with an adjustable headrest. One complaint I have about the seat itself is that I had trouble keeping my phone charger in the outlet.

Lots of Legroom

The pilots announced an updated flight time of 2 hours and 28 minutes. The door closed at 8:21 A.M. The plane was not too empty however the aisle seat on my row was empty and the rest of the Economy Plus cabin was fairly empty as well.
There was no wait for takeoff and we were in the air at 8:34 A.M. One nice touch I noticed was that the airline played music during our departure.
R.I.P. to the old MSY :(

The A320 did not have setback entertainment however free entertainment was available through the app, which I took full advantage of.
Inflight service began 30 minutes in the air and I was offered a choice of 3 snacks in which I decided on Oreos. I also asked for Ginger Ale and was given a full can!

In the air

One thing I'd like to point out is that while the crew were not rude by any means, they were not necessarily super friendly either. I feel like this is usual whenever I fly United.
Descent

Our descent into Denver began at 9:38 A.M. and we finally touched down at 10:04 A.M.,16 minutes early! I tried to do some plane spotting out of my window on arrival. We soon arrived at gate A39 and it was now time to catch my next flight!

HI Benjabar thanks for sharing.
I think a lot of people feel that way about UA. Unless you're a hardcode UA loyalist, UA is just fine. UA is not nearly as bad as they've been made out to be and they are in fact pretty good in premium cabins, especially on long-haul. But on domestic Y UA is pretty hit or miss.
That's harder and harder to come by with UA since they're ripping out the PTVs from PMCO aicraft.
