Hello and welcome to my Flight-Report from CUN to MEX with 4O.
As I type this Flight-Report 40 is facing problems regarding its solvency so I decided to post this review just for the pleasure of it, hope you enjoy it.
The check-in process was painful because there was just one long line for all departing flights. Some 4O staff members were shouting passengers names because their flight bound for MTY was almost departing and after almost 1 hour waiting in that queue I was finally handed the boarding pass and as you can see it is in 4O paper stock. It seemed it was a full flight tonight.

As soon as possible we walked the long way to the assigned gate and I have to say that this terminal is new to me. It feels modern and is well lighted. The flight was delayed because the aircraft was coming from BOG and we hear that were some issues with cabin crew, but that was all we knew at the moment. The gate agents were not proactive with the passengers providing details about the situation and the staff even said that a new crew was arriving to the airport from the city to operate this flight so they provided wrong information after all. We do not like getting attention and we always try to be discrete but we had kids and one baby with us and since we had a stroller as last minute baggage we thought that some priority would be given to us but no and we waited there until the last bus arrived.

The aircraft just arrived from Colombia. It is always a pleasure boarding an aircraft via stairs because it makes me feel like I´m actually flying the aircraft. And you can perceive its size. From the terminal building to the aircraft the bus passed by areas that I never tought I would see a CUN with widebodies from Europe mainly parked.

The legroom in 4O is very generous as you can see without paying extra for it. This is one of 4O most important selling point, besides the bathroom reserved for women and the free beverages and alcoholic drinks.

A few minutes after take-off the cabin crew started the service and I asked for two glasses of
tequila and still water along with the bag of chips. I also asked a beer and the young female FA told
me that all beer was over on the BOG-CUN leg.

No FA checking the cabin, it was one of those flights that all passengers and crew wanted to arrive as soon as possible.

After a scenic approximation and a turbulent landing we arrived to the gate and the passengers inmediately unfasten their seatbelts and removed their cabin baggage. We waited seated for our turn to remove the bagagge from the compartment and disembark, thanking the crew for their attention.

While waiting for the stroller I had this view at almost 1 am here in MEX.
We were exhausted and we still had to go to retrieve our checked baggage, walk the long distance to the airport main entrance and wait for our driver.
