London Heathrow airport
I had arrived into London on British Airways' A319 from Geneva and was connecting onwards to Mumbai.

Security was a breeze and wasn't crowded at all, I headed straight to the British Airways Concorde Room lounge.
The lounge had a lot of seating options as well as a full bar.

It also offers a dining area called "Concorde Dining" where you can order food from an à la carte menu.

Service was efficient and the food arrived in a moments notice

After my visit to the lounge I headed straight to the gate

First Class passengers have a separate boarding queue.
the flight
Today's Aircraft:
British Airways
Boeing 777-200ER
Registration: G-YMMG
Age: 19 Years
BA's First class cabin on the 777-200 are layed out in a 1-2-1 configuration. I was seated in 2K which is a standard window seat, I would recommend seat 1A and 1K because they are bulkhead seats and offer a wider legroom.

The seat is large and offers a lot of legroom although I would say it lacks privacy. There were headphones and a pair of slippers placed at my seat.

Welcome drink

The windows have a second layer of glass and are illuminated.

The crew came around with a sleeper suit and amenity kit

A glass of water and warm nuts served after takeoff

Starter: Fresh Seasonal Salad

Main: Asian Buddha bowl w/ teriyaki prawns ( the prawns were delicious!)

Dessert: Fruit cobbler

Menu:
Starters

Mains

Desserts

Cheese etc.

Crew came around to turn the seat into a flat bed (Although as mentioned before, not much privacy)

I woke up to this view after a solid 4 hours of rest

Fruit as a starter before breakfast along with a mixed fruit smoothie and a croissant

Full English breakfast

A cappuccino to finish the meal

Started our descent into Mumbai

On finals into Mumbai

Welcome to Mumbai!

Cool review.... The food looks so-so though...
Looking forward to flying with BA in First one day too!
