Welcome to this FR that coincided with the 2019 Parapan American Games commonly known as the Lima 2019 ParaPan-Am Games celebrated in Lima. Before proceeding to the check-in counters I stopped outside the terminal to have a cigarrette and at the moment I decided to enter the building a police officer requested to see my passport and e-boarding pass.
While I was seated there waiting for the boarding announcement I saw how people interacted with each other, with the police and with the innmigration officers deporting Venezuelan passengers in a very human way while for example the AC flight was boarding at the very same moment and of course the Latin American diversity at this airport overwhelmed me to the grade of having mixed feelings.
It does not matter what time you might be at this terminal because it will always be in full swing.
It also surprised me that I was allowed to bring food, fruits and Peruvian candies trough the x-ray check and nobody said a word but to be honest I felt watched the whole time.
The boarding commenced and the queues were already long enough to expedite the process but at 3AM I was not in the mood to respect any prioritie and my fellow passengers felt the same way.

Almost there!
(I apologise for the blurry pictures you know avgeek issues)

I guess the view here is much better during daylight no?

Already on my seat watching this pretty aircraft with atenttion because we do not get them often at MEX as far as I know.
In fact the views of the apron were interesting.

And as usual with CM no personal screen to follow the flight path!…

…but I get those seats at the emergency exit very often so it is alright and here you can see the contents of the seat pocket:
*the safety card, actually an updated one with the B737-8/-9 design and we all know its meaning
*the airsickness bag without any CM logo
*the complimentary Panorama magazine
I feel really comfortable with all this space for me.

While the space here is royal I get so cold and I do not know if I`m the only one or is it due to the emergency exit. And as many of you know CM does not provide neither blankets nor pillows to its Economy passengers so be prepared.
At this moment the American captain welcomed us and announced that we would be flying for 3 hours and 4 minutes from runway 23 next to the Peruvian Pacific coast over Chimbote-Trujillo-Chiclayo-Guayaquil-Darien jungle. A nice touch from this amazing captain.

The pushback started…

…and the cabin lights are dimmed for the take off. Sometimes the problem with night flights is that if you do not know the airport or city you are literally lost in your window seat and it is not possible to see outside, or is it me?

Take off without any delay.

A FA passed by and I asked him a blanket if possible but said that they ran out of blankets and pillows but he would check and of course he did not check. I slept for one hour I think and then I visited the lavatorie and stood for a while at the back galley before the cabin crew commenced the breakfast service. The flight was uneventful.

Here it is, finally! Two FA offer you the meal tray (I do not remember if there were two breakfast options) and the other two do the beverage run(no alcohol available). It was a delicious breakfast and the chocolate bar was the same I bought in the supermarket in Lima!

Once the meal trays were collected I slept again until the landing announcement so I got ready for the inminent landing. It was a fast taxi to the gate, I thanked the crew and made my way to the city avoiding the hassle of the bagagge wait because I only use my travel backpack.
Thank you very much for reading this FR. Have a nice day!
I am amazed to see the words "human" and "deporting" in the same sentence, so I presume you're being sarcastic here.
It would have been an enjoyable sight under different circumstances. :(
Don't you get your baggage scanned on arrival at PTY?? :O
Yummy!! Aren't they heavenly??? XD
LOL Behave, unruly passenger!!!
For those occasions when you HAVE to move quickly but you are still thinking of your next flight report, I have learned to let the cellphone camera record as I walk (as smoothly as possible) and then take screenshots of the video at home. It works quite well, depending on the quality of your cellphone camera.
Yo creo que ponen esa malla solamente para arruinarnos las fotos del fuselaje. Quién va a querer escaparse por esa ventana??? :(
Ese sería el vuelo de repatriación de los venezolanos?? :O
Se me ocurre que los pobres panameños disfrutan un poco de frío de vez en cuando!! XD
Don' worry. You are not going crazy. It sounds pretty logical to me.
Of course! He must have heard that "CM does not provide neither blankets nor pillows to its Economy passengers" XD
Hm! Looks nice for a three-hour flight.
Very wise! I have learned to travel light, too. :D
BTW, the other day at the airport I asked a photon "Can I help you with your baggage?" and he said "No, thanks. I'm traveling light." XDDD
Gracias por compartir!! :D
