Hello/ Ciao

Welcome to this short but great flight report taken back in November 2017.
On this journey I took a flight on board one off British Airways specially painted A319 aircrafts.
Unfortunately I didn't take many photos or videos from this flight.

Lets begin!

Arrived really early morning at Gatwick North Terminal for todays flight, I decided to get a coffee and watching the action outside.
The sky slowly getting lighter I spotted the Spanish low cost airline Vueling A320.

I yet to try out this airline in the future.

The terminal started to wake up with more passengers flooding in and shops opening up.

Our flight called ready for boarding…. For a great surprise, our flight was operated by a unique plane.

Airbus A319 registered G-DBCB painted in the striking Dove livery which was delivered fresh from Airbus to British Midlands in April 2004.
She would fly for BMI until May 2012 when the airline merged fully with British Airways.
Unfortunately BA have repainted this jet with the traditional Chatham Dockyard livery.

By the looks off it this aircraft has had a nose cone replacement since rolling out from the factory.

Stepped on-board and shown to our seat by a member off crew was a great moment. It made me feel like I was the VIP heading to my standard economy seat.

With all passengers counted for and in their seats, we pushed back from the gate and headed for the runway.

Waiting for other aircrafts to depart and land it was our turn.

Thundered down the runway and lifted up into the heavy grey clouds.
Not a lot happened during most off the flight until the cloud covering cleared to reveal the breath taking views off the mountains below.

Soon enough it was time to begin our descent into Turin.

We circled for a little while around the city until we lined up for landing, hitting the ground hard and full on breaks applied.
Turin seemed very busy with lots off flights especially ones operated by Irish carriers Ryanair and Cityjet.

The whole flight was quick, efficient and fairly basic.

But what made it special was the amazing views off the Alps as we make our approached into Turin, the crew greeting us when stepping aboard the flight and the stunning Dove livery aircraft design.

Turin itself is a fascinating little city!
From the coffee shops, mountain views in the distance, nature, architecture and rich history I highly recommend anyone to visit.
Especially seeing the Turin Shroud.

Thank you for reading this short report…. Have you flown on a Dove livery BA?  or even visited Turn yourself?
Please do drop a comment on your experience.
Also do check out my other flight reports on my profile and check by for my future uploads.

Until the next one,
Keep flying and Smiling :)
