This was a business trip, and I am lucky enough to let my company choose my flight..
Flying blue Miles earned with this flight: 777
Status earned: 5 XP
Air France doubling the XP status in 2020: 5 additional XP

As all of the Air France Hop flights; you can't choose your seat at booking, regardless of your Skyteam membership status. I am still not sure why the E190/170 and CRJ700/1000 fleet is the exception…
However you can during check-in, which I did, based on the cabin map provided:

at paris - charles de gaulle airport

After having waited for my colleague from Toulouse we found the most quiet space on the 2F terminal, just behind the AF counter there are some space available to work.. At this time I was a marely silver member so no lounge for me.. We were also supposingly flying with my boss, himself coming from Bordeaux (with me from Lyon and my colleague Toulouse, indeed CDG is a hub!!) but we got worried as we didn't hear from him up until the very last minute when he showed up at the gate… He was at the lounge and didn't tell us… Thanks boss!
The gate was F-43, so none of the usual gates with jetway, which means we are good to go with a paxbus…
onboard the e170
Boarding started with priorities respected, not sure why since we almost all got packed together on this bus. We arrived at the 2G terminal, where all the Hop birds usually are parked.

The crew was really professional and gave us a warm welcome, followed by the usual announce by the captain thanking us for flying wtih Air France; which is always a nice thought especially in these covid times.
With started taxiing towards the runway 26L, with a beautiful surprise: this was probably the last time an A380 was to be seen at the 2E terminal and for sure the last picture of an AF A380 for me…

Aligning for take off…

V1…

Rotate..

goodbye CDG! You can really appreciate how difficult this in between two lockdowns time was: look at how empty 2A and 2B are…

Flying over Alsace.. and a bit further is Germany.

When the limited service started.. No snacks just drinks..

Since the first lock down, Air France stopped printing its magazine, and so it is digitally that you can discover it; it is available on the Air France play app.

I really like that Air France started again this tradition to name their plane after french cities..

and the rest of the magazine, with of course the fleet and above all the Cadets scheme, that I did try but unfortunately failed…

at frankfurt - Flughafen Frankfurt am Main
Unlike most of the reports where you need to wait for a paxbus, we arrived at gate B41 and so deboarded directly through the jetway.
Bonus: picture from the Radison blue SAS in Frankfurt and my impressively large room!
