Introduction
This report is from 2013 trip to Melbourne.Tiger Airways was offering good price, I had booked the flight for the price.
Arrival AT AIRPORT
I checked online for this trip. I was travelling with carry-on bag for this trip. Arrived at airport by train and then proceeded to departure level.
Check-IN and SEcurity
I had boarding pass printed, headed to security, queue was short and was soon the departure area.

I checked the gate number and it would be bus gate. Proceeded towards gate area.

It was a early morning departure for Melbourne. Waiting for curfew to lift for air-side operations to commence.

Took escalator down towards the gate
Boarding AREA
Boarding commenced.
Boarding pass was scanned and was allowed to exit terminal and get on bus.

After a short bus ride, reached the aircraft parked in remote bay.
VH-VND to Melbourne on rainy winter morning.
OnBoard
Crew was waiting at the door, checking the boarding pass and directing towards seat. I was seated in aisle seat. Boarding was completed upon all passengers boarding and occupying the allocated seat. Crew closed the doors and performed manual safety demonstration. Taxi commenced after pushback.
Departure
After short taxi towards runway 16R, departure was towards South and climb to cruising altitude.

Onboard SErvice
Service was Buy on Board [BOB], as I had breakfast before boarding. I rested for the remainder of flight. Being a short trip and early morning as short snooze, refreshed me for day ahead.

The overhead locker was full, I kept bag under seat. Cloth seats on this aircraft.
Arrival in Melbourne
Time passed quickly, Pilot informed aircraft would be commencing descend and to prepare cabin to landing.
Landed smoothly and taxied to remote bay.
Disembarkation was through the front and rear door. I was seating in the forward section and disembarked from front door.
Tiger Airways VH-VND serviced for next flight.

Exited terminal after passing baggage collection. I did not have check-in bag was able to exit within few minutes of landing.
SKYBUS TO SOUTHERN CROSS
After reaching the Virgin terminal, bought Skybus ticket to Southern Cross station.
