Hello everyone and welcome to this series of report in 2016 that took me to La Belle Province for the first time.
Back then the main criterai for me to choose were both the price and the time of flying, to maximise my travelling days without taking many days off. For instance I chose a return flight that was landing at 6.30am, just in time for me to have a quick shower at home and be in the office at 9am.
I checked and at the time I paid £625 for the whole journey, out and return which is really not bad at all.

Aircraft: Boeing B777-333ER Registration: C-FIUV Engines: 2x GE90 Age: XX Years Layout: J40 W24 Y336
I remember the crew were exceptionnally all smiling, to the point that I was a bit worried for their jaw!!
I arrived on my Y cabin, litteraly the last of three.
The safety videos were displayed on the IFE and the push back started.
taxiing.. Always impressive the inertia of the B773 you can really feel it when it turns at 90 degrees.
It was still the time when Air Canada was having this old livery… I much prefer the new one.

above the thick clouds.. lok at this wingflex!
Long story but I came back with a puppet.. And I made it sit next to me for the picture during the service..
I remember the cake was somehow very good, the wine was disapointing. I don't remember the rest of the catering however…
The seats were actually OK for that price, and a good value for money.. Especially with IFE this time around!!
I have managed to sleep a few hours, I am not sure how and why, usually I can't sleep when seated.
My traditional section of the magazine review that is called En Route..

the extend of the network
and the super comprehensive fleet page… Interestingly there were still some B767 together with its successor, the dreamliner.
And the landing
at london - heathrow airport
We arrived about one hour late, and under some heavy showers to welcome me home!
Thanks you Ma'am
I was rushing to get the next train in the tube to go back home, drop my luggage and go to work! Never again it is way too stressful.

Conclusion
YYZ: A big airport, a lot of lenghty corridors but clean and with a good amount of services.
Air Canada; The B773 is decent, and so is the Y cabin. There is large choice of movies both in french and english. The catering was filling, not particularly tasty. I guess the main take away from this flight is the price: definitely a good value for momey.
LHR: T2 is brand new but it remains in Heathrow: so as long as crossrail isn't open, it will be a pain in the neck to get out of LHR.
