After a few days in Tromso to catch the Northern Lights, it's back to Oslo.
Anyways, the gamble to see the lights paid off, whew . . .
What was I thinking flying 13 hours just to play chance with nature.
I have never experience sunrise at 10am and remains twilight till sunset at 2pm!
Coming from near the equator, I'm prepared for the cold but the hours of day light was rather hilarious (in a fun way).
I know my body clock will go bonkers during summer with the mid-night sun.
So this is at the tarmac at about 4pm!

FDIS

A/c arrives

Boarding - Friendly FAs at door welcomed us o/b.

FA assisting pax load cabin luggage in overhead compartment

Seat

I'm apprehensive of leather seats on a/c as it looks like bus seats.
However with the red seat cover on black leather - it looked very good.
No stickers or adverts (from banks) in the cabin. These really cheapens the ambiance of the airline cabin.
Meals - buy on board

IFE

Download Norwegian Apps on your smartphone.
With that you can watch movies (pay), listen music and track flight path (free). Cool!
Cabin while cruising

This is Norway-Scandinavia. Everyone was quite even the tiny tots. No drama.
Even the noisy Cantonese speaking varsity students at the airport kept silent.
Thank you for this report, you were indeed lucky to see the northern lights!
DY offers a correct product albeit a bit pricey, nice sky interior cabin on your 737.
I just booked OSL-BTS one way with DY for 37 euros all in :-D
Thanks for sharing. Reports on DY are rare. Really nice product for an LCC. Did you get pics of the northern lights? You should include some in your report; would love to see them!
Thank you for sharing this report, DY seems to have a very interested strategy as a LCC carrier and I hope this is a sign of things to come where flying a LCC doesn't chime with nickel and diming such as our favorite Irish airline is so keen on doing.
Thanks for sharing this FR
DY is offering a decent product
