INTRODUCTION
In June 2019, I flew from Karachi, Pakistan to Dubai, UAE with Emirates aboard their Boeing 777-300ER. This was my first time flying with Emirates. The flight is fairly short, roughly around two hours. As of September 2022, Emirates flies thrice daily on the DXB-KHI-DXB route.
JINNAH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
I arrived at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport around 9:45 AM. The check-in was smooth but passport control took about 20 minutes. The walk towards the gates at JIAP offers nice views of the apron.

BOARDING
Boarding commenced around 12:10 and was completed quickly.

FLIGHT - IFE and meal service
The seat was quite comfortable. We departed around 12:30 PM

Emirates' ICE inflight entertainment.

Meal service started approximately 30 minutes after departure. There were two options available for lunch - meat or vegetarian. I went for the lamb curry with rice which was served alongside a corn salad, Ras Malai (a traditional Indian subcontinent sweet dish), vegetable pickle, a bread roll with butter, and water, and a beverage of choice. A delicious meal overall.

Metal cutlery was provided, which always makes the experience better.
ARRIVAL AT DXB
Around an hour and 45 mins later, we landed at Dubai International Airport.

Nice report. EK do indeed appear to offer one of the best Economy class experiences. The meal alone is better than Business class on many carriers on a similar length flight. It used to be that one could criticise Emirates for the 3-4-3 configuration on 777s, but that is now standard for most airlines and one would be hard pressed to find a 3-3-3 777 anymore. Plus EK have superior legroom compared to most carriers with similar configurations.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this report. EK offers a very strong Y product on these regional international flights, both the IFE and catering are more than sufficient for a short 2 hour flight. Looks like there was even a good amount of lamb meat in the curry.
