Hello amigos!
This is the second to last part of my trip to India series. This once, covering the segment returning to Spain from Delhi.
My previous flights so far are:

at delhi'S INDIRA gandhi airport
Done with touristing around Delhi, and doing some shopping around Connaught Place, it had some Nando's and then went back to my hotel to pack my bag and get an Uber to the airport. Since my flight left at 4am, I just tried to spend as much time as possible before heading to the airport at midnight.
I was greeted by a huge and beautiful terminal.
As usual, there was a security chek by the military and then I was able to get to check in. I made it earlier than the opening time for EK's counters…so I had to wait another hour till I was able to check in. Which was hassle free and quick once I was able to do it.
Then it was a MASSIVE queue for security and passport checks, this took well over an hour.
Once dne with that, I was left at your regular duty free maze
once out of the maze, I could have a peek to the local fauna that night:
My first task of the night, was to find somewhere to dine and chill while our boarding time came by. And so, it was Lounge time.
I soon got bored after having my dinner, and so I went around to explore the Terminal
Uh Oh, where's my flight ?
Well…while my flight showed up, it was time for more lounge time!
I was curious about this product…since it was available at every lounge. Big nope for me
Now, this I can have…a good old glass of Jack D's, just for relaxation purposes
Then it was time to go to the gate…on the way there, some exotic birds could be spotted
There was quite a crowd at the gate…and a queue had already formed.
a couple of minutes later we were boarding the triple seven
GE90s never cease to to amaze me
on board emirates' 777-300ER
I was greeted by the lovely crew, considering the time I would have expected some nasty attitude, but they were quite friendly. The cabin was the latest EK cabin at the time, with H U G E PTVs
My spot was more than perfect for the flight to Dubai. I could even fit my bag against the fuselage, without taking precious legroom. BTW that secondary PTV is probably larger than the PTV that AF used to have on the A343s!
En route to dubai!
The plane took its time to fill up, and once ready we were good to go. The guys at the front office made a short welcome speech and told us about our route and so on… I was super sleppy by then.
The cabin was pitch dark (well, with the star feature) and I fell asleep…
I woke up as we neared DXB
I chose the A seats hoping to see Dubai's skyline on arrival, but we made our arrival from the north, missing a view to the skyscrapers.
Our route for the night:
I was a zombie by the time I stepped on the gate. Now I had around 9 hours to spend before the flight to Madrid…but that will be the last chapter of this adventure.
