introduction
I looked for a nice destination for short trip in Europe, including nice Christmas markets, tasty food and a cheap flight ;)
The flight ticket was pretty cheap, since Ryanair take off from Terminal 1 usually, as well as their late\early flight times, which also made the ticket cheaper than flag carriers on this route, like Elal.
Flight routing
- 1FR4270 - Economy - Tel Aviv → Budapest - Boeing 737-800
- 2FR4269 - Economy - Budapest → Tel Aviv - Boeing 737-800
tlv airport - terminal 1
I arrive 2.5 hours to terminal 1 before the flight.
Terminal 1 entrance:

Although I flew with trolley bag, I still had to wait in the security check process line, the line was pretty long and it took 30 minutes to finish this process in the airport.
After I finished the security check, I went to the hand baggage check and passport control.
On my way:

I waited 30 minutes for those processes, but finally I arrived to the terminal.

Our flight appeared on the departures screen:

Ben Gurion on an old car statue in terminal 1:

Our gate area:

Boarding not started yet…
So I went to the duty free, although I didn't have a lot of time.

This duty free shop is similar to the one in terminal 3, but it's smaller, I could find almost any product that I wanted.
Short visit in the toilets:

As you can see, the toilets were in good shape.
I went to the gate area:

A bus took us to the aircraft:

FLIGHT EXPERIENCE - TLV TO BUD
Boeing 737-8AS(WL)
SP-RKO
In service since June 2015, making it a bit more than 7 years old when I flew on it
Wing view:

Another Ryanair Boeing 737-800 parked near to us, 9H-QEJ:

Safety card, printed on the seat in front of you:

Legroom:

As you can see, the legroom isn't great, since you must place the bag under the seat in front of you, I also not tall and the flight was pretty short, which made it easier for me.
Wing view during taxi:

Climbing over Tel Aviv:

30 minutes into the flight, the flight crew provided the buy on board menu:

I think that the buy on board prices are reasonable.
While waiting for the buy on board service, I took a picture of the cabin:

As you can see, this is the older cabin, with bigger seats and without the mood light (sky interior).
The small unstable table:

We bought Coca cola zero, water bottle and pretzels:

The pretzels were tasty, nothing to write about the drinks :)
2 hours into the flight, I went to the toilets:

Considering that I visited the toilets 2 hours into the flight, I think that they looked clean.
Cabin view while I returned to my seat:

Shortly after I returned to my seat, the pilots started the landing procedure.
Landing video:
The pilots taxied the aircraft to the gate, which was far away from the terminal building.
I spotted some aircraft while they did it:
Ryanair Boeing 737-800:

Wizzair aircraft and the same Ryanair Boeing 737-800:

Another wing view:

Hungarian Air Force Falcon 7X:

Cabin view during deboarding:

Buses waited for us to take us to the terminal.
I took some photos of our aircraft:

BUD AIRPORT
Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos in Budapest airport, since I had to take my trolley bag with me.
I will write my opinion about the airport anyway.
The bus took us to the terminal,
the passport check was pretty quick.
I walked 5 minutes to the terminal exit, in order to take our taxi to the hotel.
The airport was easy to navigate and clean as well.

As someone who is familiar with Ryanair, I think that they provide a consistent level of service, you know what to expect.
Unlike some airlines, who decide to inform you that your flight will be operated by totally different airline (not code share, but wet leased aircraft), at least in Ryanair you know what you'll get.
I flew with them in the past from BGY to TLV in 2019, and my experience was similar:
FR2005
