about airline, aircraft and route
Hello Flight-Report Community and welcome to this flight from Riga to Keflavik.
Air Baltic is operating this route using their Airbus A220-300 aircraft, it would have a flight time of approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes. The A220-300 has a maximum range of 6,200 km, which is more than enough to cover the distance between Riga and Keflavik, which is approximately 2,370 km.
In terms of seating configuration, Air Baltic's A220-300 aircraft are configured with 145 seats in a single economy class cabin. However, it is possible that they could configure the aircraft with a different layout for longer flights like this one.
Flight it's self: Transfer at riga, taxi, take off and catering service.
After arriving from Tallinn, I had a transfer to Riga, and it went pretty well and smoothly. Our departure gate was next to the arrival gate.
After boarding the aircraft, there were few safety instructions, and we started pushing back. The taxi and take-off were pretty smooth.
After reaching our cruising altitude the cabin crew started handing out pre-ordered meals and snacks. I had some fries, chicken nuggets, coffee, apple juice, and a blueberry muffin. They were pretty good. For meal 9/10.
Below there is a picture of coffee.

Video about taxing and take off.
Flight is self: Crusing over norway
Cruising over Norway was pretty smooth, there was a little bit of turbulence but it was not that bad. The view of Norway's mountains was really beautiful.

flight it's self: decending, landing, taxing and leaving from the airport
First off, I did not take any pictures from descending, landing, taxing, and from the airport.
When we started the descending there was a small safety video about descending. We descended for about 5 minutes and then e entered the landing part. The landing was pretty smooth same as taxing. When we were taxing I saw Icelandair Hekla Aura livery standing at the gate. it was a beautiful livery. After we arrived at the gate I had the opportunity to visit a flight deck. It was my first time in the cockpit and the visit we left from the plane. Leaving the airport was pretty easy and simple because of the signs. When we wait for our luggage to come, we waited about 10 mins before the luggage started to come, but overrall the airport service was pretty good.
There is video about landing and taxing at the airport.
Thanks for sharing the next report in this series,
Nice to have hot options on longer flights like this. It would have been nice to see what the food looked like (next time!), but it's good to hear that it was good and a good value.
Air Baltic seem like a really nice option on these longer intra-European flights with a more spacious cabin on the A220 than most 737/A320 family aircraft.
Thanks for sharing!
When I flew with Air Baltic and Finnair (coming soon) I did not take so many pictures. Next time when I'm going to fly I'm going to take more photos. :)
