After a good flight on United Express EMB175 I discover for the first time Denver International Airport. I am in the B gate and I need to go to the… B gate. Just at the other side of the airport.

There are huge travelators in the center that speed the way between the areas of the concourse.
However there huge structures sometimes that completely block the flow of people. You feel sometimes like at the Oktoberfest in Munich ;)

This hall is beautiful though. I liked in general the design of the airport. Just the flow of people was too important.

My gate B7 is at the far end of the concourse. There is a terrace there with sofas and fire places (yes on!).

That area of the concourse was much better to wait. It was wide and calm.
After 2 hours alternating work and phone calls it's time to board. The information at the gate is just great. There is an impressive list of upgrades non served (14). My impression on the US3 frequent-flyer programs. If you don't have the highest or second highest level you will never seat in First. And these levels are hard to reach I would say (except if you spend a lot in credit card purchases / run your own business or fly every week).

After the carpet, the front door

The Economy Plus section with a movable headrest.

And my seat. There is not much difference but colours on the headrest are inverted ;)
And of course the legroom is way less generous.

It is even less than in the A319 of the airline, but remains much better than the industry average.

I'm missing though a tablet holder and a power socket.

I decide this time on this long flight to use the IFE displayed on my tablet. I just installed the app for that purpose. You can do it as well on the aircraft WIFI. Excellent point.

Pushback again on time. Not a single issue so far on all my flights.

An interesting airline that has been reported recently on Flight-Report.

Take off without waiting time

My previous landing was very bumpy but this take-off has been smooth.

I stay on the AHA flavoured sparkling water. No alcool for free in economy section.

I watched My Own Private Idaho, a so called cult classic. Well I slept in the middle and didn't understand anything of the story. But I'm sure this is a good movie :)
Landing was from the East and I could have had stunning views of the French Quarter if…. the sky was not full of clouds. The night has been cold (well for New Orleans) and windy with the South Dakota storm coming slowly here as well.

.

United is in the C concourse in New Orleans together with Delta and Spirit. It has several flights there with Houston as destination number 1.

Our flight on FlightRadar 24. The French Quarter is on the left side, the healthy New Orleans on the right side when landing. Well of course when the sky is clear!!!
