AFter 3 days of fun in Manila, we had to catch a flight to the local island of Boracay. For more details on our activities, please visit my website www.hookedonpoints.com or check out my IG @hookedonpoints.
Our flight to Bora was departing at 2pm and we made it to the airport by noon. Was surprising the car ride took 15 minutes as we were expecting traffic madness again but luckily everything moved along without incident.
PAL Express check in.

Security was quick and we were spit out into the airside area which was a complete zoo. T2 is the smallest terminal and is ill equipped to handle the amount of passengers passing through. Luckily, we found seats and I went to grab some lunch. Took 30 minutes and by the time I got back, boarding was beginning.

All economy seating - yay.

Plane goes up.

After 45 minutes - planes comes down.

Ew

Always love walking on the tarmac.

After we got our bags, we met with the SL representative who tagged our bags to walked us (along with other guests) to the front of the terminal where we waited for the shuttle bus.

Very luxurious …

On our 2nd day in Manila, we went to meet up with other friends at the Podium Mall for lunch. With the usual traffic chaos, it took us over an hour to get there and once there, went up to Lola’s located on the 5th floor.
Longganisa Cheese Fries

Bone Marrow Sisig (phenomenal!)

Lola’s Bicol Express

Roasted Pork Belly Tocino

Chicken Inasal Sisig

Boneless Chicken Inasal

Cheesecake (sorry, forgot the flavour but still good)

On our last full day, we attended a close friends wedding where all of us were part of the bridal party. We were asked to be the godparents for the couple (Ninong and Ninang) and we were thrilled to be part of the festivities.

A perfect end to the evening. Blessed to be part of something special.

Awwww you made me cry. I always cry in weddings!!! Best wishes for the newlyweds! ?
