Review of Nyxair flight from Tallinn to Kuressaare in Economy

Airline history and info: 
The airline mainly performs short-term charters, but has also in 2020 and 2021 won government procurements and wet-lease contracts to fly domestic flights in Estonia and Finland. In Estonia, the company started flights between Tallinn and Kuressaare on the island Saaremaa in December 2020. In Finland (since May 2021) the company runs flights from Helsinki to Savonlinna. The company has also flown domestic flights in Sweden on behalf of Air Leap. From March 2022 it flies from Stockholm-Bromma to Kristianstad and Trollhättan on behalf of local companies (Nyxair does not fly in Sweden anymore).  In addition, cargo flights in central Europe.

Route Info:
Tallinn - Kuressaare route is operated by Nyxair ATR 42-500 what offers efficent way to fly to the Kuressaare from Tallinn Lennart Meri Airport and it is the fastest way to get to the Kuressaare. Flight time is around 40 minutes and it is very short domestic flights compared to Finland, Russia and Sweden. 

ARRIVING TO THE AIRPORT, NAVIGATING AT THE AIRPORT

After arriving at Tallinn airport I got these first pictures from airport. 

After I crossed the road, it was time to head inside to the departure area it was very crowded, and check-in to my flight wasn't started yet but no worries because I already did an online check-in. 

After passing all those people I headed for security control and this time there was almost every lane opened 6/7 lanes and which means we did not had any problems and security agent was very friendly.

After passing the security it was time to go to the duty-free. 

But first Perfect rating. :)

I bought two water bottles from duty-free and after that I was going to see what gate my plane is departing because it did not show it on the boarding pass. 

And yes our flight is departing to Kuressaare with Flight Number OJ207 and from gate 07, I was hoping for gate 01 but gate 07 it is. 

And again I can't left out my favorite thing at TLL airport and it is that baggage table :)

To the departures area. 

After entering to departures area I heard some music and wondered where it is coming and then I saw a Piano player, some artists can play at TLL piano.

I will leave one short video here too so you can enjoy some music :)

After that it was time to go to my gate even if boarding is not in next 1h. I was sad that I did not have gate 1 bc I wasn't able to listen more good music. 

Small hello to fishes. 

After arriving at my gate 7. If you know you know that TLL has every gate branded with something and that time gate 7 was printed with admirals design. Admirals are something to do in financial world. 

If you want you can bring empty water bottle through the security and fill it up with the water that is coming from Ülemiste Lake and Ülemiste Lake is lake where Tallinn citizens are getting water from. 

After that I decided to visit the new shop at TLL airport and it is called Põhjala Deli and I bought one apple drink. 

After that I decided to find one good place to sit and I found that good chair with very nice view. 

My view: 

My drink wich was very tasty.

I think that we are boarding through that door to the bus and not with Jetbridge. 

Gate 5 is getting ready to for Ryanair flight arrival. 

After that my lighting app sent me notification about lighting nearby (In 51-kilometer circle from my current location) and I decided to check my lighting app. 

But radar showed that they are moving away to the Finland so I did not worry about lighting. 

And on meantime Ryanair arrived with Boeing 737 which was carrying the reg of: 9H-VVJ

Bus arrived at the gate and still about 20 minutes until boarding.

BOARDING

After 20 minutes of wait it was time to board and it is time to see where is my boarding pass and it is one my phone :)

After that it was time to went to the stairs and I had some Nordica feelings.

After short bus ride we arrived next to our aircraft. 

Bye-bye bus. 

And fun fact, some TLL airport workers move around with Electric Scooters. 

After that it is time to go on board and traditional fuselage shoot. 

After entering the plane I had very good and warm welcome from CC only member on that flight. That aircraft has normally 2-2 configuration or on front 0-2 and back 2-0 but more about it on the end. 

And my seat row 3C/D, only thing that was waiting at my seat was seated that have seen some better days and my seat number.

TAXI, TAKE OFF, CLIMPING

After boarding completed it was time to taxi and take off, no pictures turning taxi and taking off were made.

Overall that topic went pretty smoothly.

Our Scheduled Departure time was 18:30 but we departed at 18:41 so little bit delay about 11 minutes but that is okay :)

CATERING, IN-FLIGHT ENTEIRMENT, CRUSISING AND CABIN

After seatbelt sign turned off I got that photo of Ämari Air base. 

So first off I like that design.

So seat offers a seat, armrest, cup holder, tray table (I'm still confused about that, AT45 is smaller aircraft than BCS3 but has bigger tray table than BCS3), seat pocket, crew calling button, AC and a reading lamp. 

And seat pocket will have following things: A safety card, Air Sickness bag and I guess you can call it Inflight magazine and it is called MO Saared, it has information about islands in that region. 

After that crew came and handed out this delicious candy. 

Now I will show what was IN-FLIGHT ENTEIRMENT. These were clouds :) and little bit some land.

DESCENDING, LANDING, TAXING

So descent went pretty smooth and there were no clouds over Saaremaa so I got some good photos. 

Only thing that I did not like was that sun. 

Kuressaare

Touchdown was pretty smooth.

As you can see there was rainy day at Kuressaare before our arrival. 

The taxi was smooth and we arrived at the gate, I don't know can you say gate about it, it is more like apron. 

Our Scheduled arrival time was 19:10 and our arrival was 19:12 so no delay if don't consider the 2 min delay :)

If you want you can even sit backward on that plane, seat row 1C/D (I belive)

After getting myself up from the plane it was time to de-board and I had very warm goodbye from CC member it seemed that she liked to do her job because she was very friendly and had every time smile on she's face :)

Arrival entrence. 

From plane it is short almost 30-second walk if you are normal passenger, if you are like me then you will walk about 1 minute because you want to have that good shoot of a plane to get every possible angle.  

After entering the building I was greeted by a friendly arrival area.

BAGGAGE CLAIM AND NAVIGATING OUT FROM THE AIRPORT

After a little bit of walking and I arrived at the baggage belt but I did not have any checked luggage so time to walk by, but whit that fare you can have 20 kilograms of checked luggage for free and 8 kilograms with hand luggage. 

And now it is time to go do the front lobby (I like to call it that, it is the area where check-in counters are located). 

After that it is time to leave the airport but for only 5 minutes but more than on the next FR.
