So back to CDG T2 for a quick trip to Amman, Jordan. This trip was from a while back and was my first flight on AF narrow body. CDG is on my list of very confusing airports and I barely managed to get to get on time despite the fact that I arrived at the airport more than 2 hours ahead of time. Sorry in advance that this is going to be the only picture of the terminal with very few pictures of the lounge, not that AF's salons at CDG have anything to write home about.

Usual entrance to the lounge. The gate keepers were busy this afternoon.

Took the last few items left from breakfast. I was surprised to see them at 13hr00

Then quickly moved on to some lunch snacks. Seems like I needed lots of coffee that day.

The lounge was somewhat crowded with lots of mid-afternoon departures to Asia

Red pillows were distributed as soon as passengers settled into their seats. Long haul amenity kits were provided.

I was glad the flight featured long haul like menus.

Flying over southern France. There was unfortunately no entertainment at all on this 5 hours flight. I had a book to read but it would have been a disappointment had I not bring any readings.

The meal service was good. The crew was at their leisure since it was a day time flight of 5 hours with only one service.

The chicken entree was excellent. Not dry at all.

If I recall correctly by this point we were flying over southern Lebanon.

Soon we arrived at Amman Q.A.I.A. Immigration was fairly brief but my checked baggage for some reason did not turn up. It was delivered to me at my hotel 2 days after arrival. I later discovered that it had been incorrectly sent to BEY. I was rather unsatisfied with this since I had no connection and turned up at the airport on time. Nevertheless it wasn't too much of an issue at the end.

This was still Amman's old terminal. I saw the new terminal in construction from far and it looked impressive.
Welcome and thanks for this FR.
Arriving on DL at Terminal 2E should mean an easy transfer as flights to AMM depart from the 2E as well but apparrently no...
Nice onboard service you got, unfortunately a recent report in J on the same flight showed a decline in the offered meal.
Bievenue Bo :)
A few photos but they are very nice. The one from the window is particularly striking because often the glass is not very clean.
There was unfortunately no entertainment at all on this 5 hours flight <= that's one of the major inconvenient of the short-haul in Europe. Since AA and others are stepping up their game in this category (newer cabin interior in domestic flights) it will be interesting to see if European legacy carriers will follow.
